## Description

When you need to monitor several outdoor areas, a multi-camera setup offers broader coverage than focusing on one entry point. When movement is the main concern, pan-and-tilt tracking can help keep activity in view without manually repositioning a fixed camera.

The eufy Security eufyCam C37 4-Camera Kit combines both approaches, with four cameras, detachable solar panels, and a HomeBase Mini for local storage and AI detection features.

## At a glance
Each C37 captures video in 2K and can pan and tilt through 360° with automatic tracking. Color night vision and a built-in spotlight help show activity after dark, while AI detection can identify people, vehicles, pets, and faces when used with the included HomeBase Mini. The system stores recordings locally, with 64GB built into the HomeBase Mini, and does not require a monthly subscription.

The four detachable solar panels can be positioned separately from the cameras, so you can choose camera angles and panel placement for each installation. The cameras are rated IP65 for outdoor use. Wi-Fi connectivity uses the 2.4GHz band.

Buyers often highlight the straightforward setup, clear daytime video, and motion tracking. Feedback on connectivity and reliability is mixed, so placement and a suitable Wi-Fi connection matter when planning where to install the cameras.

## Getting the most from it
Mount each camera upside down as directed, this is the intended installation orientation for water protection and detection. Position its solar panel where it can receive sunlight, independently of the camera’s viewing angle. For smooth operation, update the eufy app to version 6.0.10 or newer.

The HomeBase Mini is the hub for the kit’s local storage and AI features. Recordings are saved locally rather than requiring cloud subscription storage, making this setup suitable for monitoring several exterior areas through one system.

## Who it’s for
This kit suits homeowners who want multiple outdoor viewpoints, such as a front entry, driveway, and side access, in a coordinated setup. Pan-and-tilt tracking is useful when activity may move across a camera’s view, a fixed camera is a simpler approach when you only need to watch one consistent angle. Solar panels offer another practical distinction for outdoor placement, since each panel can be aimed separately from its camera.

## What to clarify
**Does the kit work with HomeBase 2 or Apple HomeKit?** No. C37 connects with HomeBase Mini or HomeBase 3, but not HomeBase 2, and it does not support HomeKit. HomeBase 3 requires firmware version V3.7.8.4 or newer, HomeBase Mini requires V4.0.5.6 or newer.

**Can it record continuously around the clock?** No. The C37 does not support 24/7 continuous recording, including when connected to HomeBase Mini.

**Where are recordings stored?** The included HomeBase Mini has 64GB of built-in local storage. The camera itself needs a microSD card for standalone recording, recording is unavailable without one.

## When it makes sense
Choose this four-camera kit when you want to monitor several outdoor areas and value automatic subject tracking, color night vision, and local recording in the same system. The included HomeBase Mini supports the kit’s AI detection and storage, while the separate solar panels give you flexibility in how each camera and panel is positioned.
