## Description

For repair work that calls for retaining pins across different fastener sizes, the Eoppen assortment combines cotter pins and R clips in one kit. It is listed as a 13-size set made from 304 stainless steel, with sizes intended for jobs involving bolts, pins, lawn mowers, machinery, trucks, and small engines.

The assortment is designed for a toolbox rather than a single repair: it includes a reusable case with size labels, though buyer feedback raises some concerns about how neatly the pins may be arranged inside.

## Getting the most from it

The set contains two styles for different fastening needs. The listed contents include 133 hairpin cotter pins and 87 R clips. Hairpin sizes range from M1.5x25mm to M4x60mm, the R clips range from M1x16mm to M3x65mm. That spread can be useful when a workshop handles varied repairs and would otherwise need to keep several sizes on hand. For example, someone servicing a lawn mower or working on machinery can select a clip that matches the pin or hole in the assembly, rather than relying on one size for every task.

Cotter pins are intended to pass through a hole to help secure nuts, bolts, or pins. The assortment gives you options, but the correct size still depends on the hardware being fastened. Use the listed dimensions to choose the right piece for the specific connection, the kit does not establish that every size fits every hitch pin lock system.

## Where it shines

The main appeal is breadth: this is a mixed kit of cotter pins and R clips, not a bulk pack of one repeated size. That makes it more suited to a general repair box than a purchase for a job where the required size is already known. Its labeled, reusable case is intended to help keep the selection organized and portable.

Buyers often value the range of sizes and describe the assortment as convenient for general use. Some also report that the pins feel sturdy and hold securely. Those comments are perceptions, not a substitute for matching the pin to the load and fit required by the repair. The listing identifies the material as 304 stainless steel, but buyer feedback on whether the material matches that description is mixed.

## Worth noting

There is an inconsistency in the product details: the name and package description state 220 pieces, and the listed hairpin and R-clip quantities add up to 220, while another specification field says 200 pieces. Treat the stated assortment as a useful guide, but the conflicting count means the exact quantity is not presented consistently. Buyers have also mentioned pins arriving mixed together or crowded in the smaller compartments, so the labeled case may still need sorting after unpacking.

Compared with buying only the one size needed for a known repair, a variety kit offers more options for future jobs but requires selecting and organizing the right piece each time. It makes sense if you maintain different equipment and want several sizes available. It might not be a great match if your purchase depends on a confirmed piece count, neatly separated contents, or independently verified material composition.

## When it makes sense

Choose this set when a home workshop, lawn mower repair, or general machinery maintenance calls for both cotter pins and R clips in a range of listed sizes. The assortment can reduce the need to source each size separately, while the case is meant to keep the pieces together. If you already know the exact fastener size and need a larger quantity of just that size, a dedicated single-size pack is a more direct fit. For this kit, the practical decision is whether the variety is more valuable than having one precisely specified size and a consistently stated total count.
