## Description

Some cooking setups need several burners for different tasks at once. Others prioritize a compact built-in layout and straightforward cleanup. The Empava 30XGC5B70C combines five sealed gas burners with a stainless steel surface and continuous cast-iron grates. Its key buying considerations are fuel setup, counter cutout, and the included burner mix.

The range of burner sizes gives this layout more flexibility than a cooktop built around similarly sized burners. A practical use case is simmering a sauce on the auxiliary burner while using a larger burner for a pan or wok. The stated outputs help distinguish each position, but the product details do not specify a single overall heat output.

## Requirements
This is a built-in gas appliance, so the counter opening and available fuel connection matter before installation. The product information lists overall dimensions as 21" D x 30" W x 4.13" H, the more detailed installation information gives 29.92" L x 20.08" W x 4.13" H and a cutout of 28.62" L x 18.77" W. Since both sets appear in the listing, use the installation documentation to confirm the fit for your counter rather than relying on the nominal 30-inch width alone.

Natural gas and propane are both listed as supported fuels, with a regulator and conversion nozzles included. Verify that the selected fuel and installation arrangement match your setup. The cooktop also requires electrical power for its electronic ignition, the specifications list 120 volts, while the product details describe a preinstalled power cord as 110V. That difference is worth resolving against the supplied manual before installation.

## Getting the most from it
The continuous grates provide a connected surface across the burners, which can help when moving cookware between positions. Sealed burners and a stainless steel panel are practical details for routine kitchen cleanup, while the cast-iron grates are listed as dishwasher-safe. Follow the manual’s care directions for the surface and grates.

It suits you if you want a built-in gas cooktop with five burner sizes and either natural gas or propane listed as fuel options. Not the best choice if you need an electric cooktop or a freestanding range, this model is specifically designed for built-in installation. Compared with choosing a simpler cooktop with fewer burners, this Empava provides more simultaneous burner positions, but requires planning around its counter cutout and gas supply.

## Before you decide
**Can it run on propane as well as natural gas?** Both fuels are listed, and the package details include LPG nozzles and a natural gas regulator. Check the manual for the correct configuration for your fuel.

**What are the cutout dimensions?** The listed cutout is 28.62" L x 18.77" W. The product information also gives two sets of overall dimensions, so confirm the fit using the installation documentation.

**What safety features are listed?** The five burners are described as having flame-failure thermocouples and automatic flame shutoff. These features are intended to stop gas flow if a flame goes out.

## Final verdict
The Empava 30XGC5B70C is worth considering when a built-in gas layout, five burner positions, and a choice of natural gas or propane fit your kitchen plans. Its mix of burner outputs and continuous grates offers useful flexibility for cooking several items at once. The conflicting voltage and overall-dimension details make the manual and installation measurements important decision points, especially if the cutout is already fixed.
