## Description

## How to use it

Keep an eye on a yard, driveway, or other outdoor area with this four-camera wireless security system. Mount the cameras on a wall, connect them through 2.4GHz or 5GHz Wi-Fi, and use the app to view footage and receive alerts on an iOS or Android device. Solar power and rechargeable batteries support outdoor monitoring, while included local storage gives recordings a place to save without relying on a monthly storage plan.

At night, automatic spotlight illumination supports color night vision. PIR human detection can trigger video clips and phone alerts when someone approaches. Set detection zones, sensitivity, and schedules in the app to tailor notifications to the areas and times you want to monitor.

## Pros

The system brings together solar power, local recording, and app-based alerts, making it a practical fit for outdoor coverage without making cloud storage the default. The 64GB card is included, and local loop recording is described as providing up to 120 days of footage. Optional cloud storage is also available for additional backup and AI analysis. For placement, dual-band Wi-Fi supports connection on either 2.4GHz or 5GHz, and the pan-and-tilt range helps direct the camera’s view across a wider area.

What helps make outdoor monitoring more useful after dark? Color night vision with automatic spotlight illumination, paired with human detection and configurable alert settings, gives you another way to review activity beyond daytime footage. The cameras have an IP65 rating and an operating range of -4°F to 122°F. The manufacturer states that two hours of sunlight a day keeps each camera running.

Buyers commonly praise the ease of setup, solar-powered design, and clear image quality. These are customer impressions rather than a substitute for the system’s stated features, but they point to the practical appeal of a wireless kit that combines solar charging with app access.

## Practical questions

**Does the system require a cloud subscription for local recording?** The system includes a 64GB memory card for local loop recording, and local recording is offered with no monthly fees. Optional cloud storage is available for additional backup and AI analysis.

**Can I receive alerts on my phone?** Yes. The cameras can send instant app alerts when PIR sensing detects a person approaching. You can adjust detection zones, sensitivity, and schedules in the app.

**How does it support nighttime monitoring?** The cameras provide color night vision, with a spotlight that turns on automatically at night. Human detection can also trigger a recorded video clip and an app alert.

## Final verdict

For homeowners who want to monitor several outdoor areas from a phone, the ELYSOO JA-D300 combines four cameras, solar-powered operation, color night vision, and included local storage in one coordinated system. Its app controls and adjustable detection settings make it useful for shaping coverage around everyday outdoor spaces, while the choice of local or optional cloud storage lets you choose how to keep recordings.
