## Description

Set lamps to turn on at sunset, switch off a fan at bedtime, or control several room lights together from your phone. The EIGHTREE ET05 brings app-based control and scheduling to everyday plug-in devices.

This four-pack supports dual-band Wi-Fi and Bluetooth setup, with Alexa and Google Home voice control after setup in the Smart Life app. No hub is required.

Use the Smart Life app to control individual plugs remotely, group them, or set schedules and timers for your routine.

## Getting the most from it

Place a plug between a wall outlet and a device you want to control, such as a lamp, fan, or coffee maker. Use the app to switch power on or off, set a schedule, or create a timer. For seasonal lighting, a schedule can manage when lights turn on and off, for daily routines, you can program a lamp or fan around your usual bedtime or wake-up time.

The dual-band Wi-Fi design supports connection to 2.4GHz and 5GHz networks, while Bluetooth setup helps with the initial connection. The plug is designed for 120V and rated at 15A (1800W), match the connected device to the plug’s rating. Its rounded, compact form keeps the outlet area organized, and the four-pack lets you set up control in multiple locations.

## Why it’s worth it

The ET05 combines several ways to manage connected devices without adding a hub: use the Smart Life app for remote control, voice commands through Alexa or Google Home, or schedules and timers for hands-off operation. Group control is useful when several plugs serve one room or routine, since you can manage them together rather than switching each one separately.

Buyers often highlight setup, Alexa integration, and scheduling, including use with holiday lights. Feedback about Wi-Fi connectivity is mixed, so the network experience can vary. After connecting the plug in the Smart Life app, link it with your voice assistant to use voice commands.

Compared with a basic plug that only switches power manually, the ET05 adds remote access and automation. It suits everyday appliances that you want to control from a phone or include in a timed routine, while the four-pack supports more than one setup around the home.
