EHEYCIGA Model 4 Dog Stairs, 18-Inch Four-Step Bed Steps, Gray Fleece

When a small dog or cat needs a way up to a bed or sofa, these four-step EHEYCIGA stairs provide an indoor route instead of a direct jump. The gray, fleece-covered steps are 18 inches high and can be placed against furniture.

The foam stairs measure 24 inches deep by 15 inches wide. Their listed maximum weight recommendation is 35 pounds, which gives you a concrete size and load limit to compare with your pet’s needs.

The cover is removable and washable, while the inner foam is not. The stairs can also fold into a basic pet bed, adding another use when they are not set up beside furniture.

Everyday use

The four-step layout is intended for reaching furniture such as a bed or sofa. In a bedroom, you could set the stairs at the bed edge so a pet can climb up and down without relying on a single leap. They are also described for use with cats and small dogs, and the overall dimensions help indicate how much floor space they will occupy.

Setup involves unfolding the stairs and attaching the removable cover. After taking the foam out of its compression bag, the instructions say to allow 24–48 hours for it to expand fully before use. The cover can be washed by hand or in a washing machine, the foam itself should not be washed.

Compared with leaving a pet to jump onto furniture, these steps offer a gradual route. A ramp is another approach, but this product uses four separate steps rather than a sloped surface. Choose based on the layout your pet can use and the space available beside the furniture.

Why it makes sense

The removable cover is a practical detail for a pet accessory that may collect everyday dirt or fur, and the option to fold the stairs into a basic bed gives them a second stated use. The 18-inch height and four-step format distinguish this version from the three- and five-step options mentioned in the product details, those options are separate variants, not additional pieces included here.

Buyer feedback is generally positive about use with small dogs and cats, and some say pets learn to use the stairs readily. However, opinions are mixed on stability and step width: some find the stairs sturdy, while others describe them as wobbly or narrow. Those differing impressions make it sensible to consider your pet’s size and confidence on steps rather than treating the non-slip wording as a guarantee of stability. It makes sense if the dimensions and 35-pound recommendation suit your pet and the furniture you have in mind.

Questions before you buy

Can the stairs be used with a bed or sofa? They are described for placement beside a bed, sofa, or other furniture. The listed height is 18 inches, so compare it with the furniture edge before choosing this version.

Is the whole stair unit washable? No. The cover is removable and washable by hand or machine, but the foam interior is not washable.

Does it arrive ready to use? The setup instructions say to unfold the stairs and attach the cover. The foam should be left to expand for 24–48 hours after removal from its compression bag.

When it makes sense

Choose this version when you want four steps for indoor access to furniture and its 18-inch height, 24-by-15-inch footprint, and weight recommendation fit your setup. Better avoided if your pet is above the stated 35-pound limit or if the reported mixed feedback on stability and width makes this step format unsuitable for your pet.
