EASELAND King Mattress Pad with Pillow-Top, Deep Pocket 21", Soft Down Alternative Microfiber
Product description
What it is
The EASELAND King mattress pad is a quilted, fitted-style protector designed to add a plush layer to a king-size bed. With a deep 21-inch pocket and a cotton top, it aims to soften a firmer mattress while staying securely in place as you move at night.
What it solves for you
If you want a softer, more breathable sleep surface without buying a new mattress, this pad uses 30 oz of down-alternative filling to increase loft and comfort. The 300TC cotton surface helps manage moisture, so you’re less likely to wake up feeling damp. The deep pocket (up to 21 inches) and single-track elastic ensure the pad stays put through nightly turning and shifting.
Key features and what they mean in everyday use
- Deep pocket to fit mattresses up to 21 inches: easier to install and less likely to slide off the corners.
- 30 oz down-alternative filling: adds noticeable softness without the upkeep of real down.
- 300TC cotton surface: skin-friendly and breathable, helps absorb sweat for more comfortable nights.
- 63 oz total fill with hollow fiber microfibers: provides a cushioned feel that complements a firmer mattress.
- Machine washable on a gentle cycle: simple to refresh and keep fluffy with sun-drying.
What stands out (pros)
On paper, the combination of a deep pocket, a breathable cotton top, and a fairly substantial fill leads to a noticeably plusher feel on a typical firm king mattress. It’s a sensible pick if you’re looking to extend mattress life, soften firmness a bit, and avoid heat buildup at night.
Where it may fall short (cons)
No product is perfect, and this pad relies on synthetic down-alternative. If you’re seeking a premium real-down loft or a heavier mattress topper, this option might feel thinner. Also, the depth support tops out at 21 inches—if your mattress is unusually tall, you’ll want to confirm compatibility.
Who it’s for
- Sleepers with a firm king mattress who want instant softness without a full topper replacement.
- People who value breathability and moisture management in a topper.
- Shoppers who prioritize easy care and machine washing over premium natural fillings.
Who it isn’t for
- If you’re chasing true down luxury loft, this is a more budget-friendly, synthetic alternative.
- If your mattress is taller than 21 inches or you need a topper with heavier support, this may not deliver the level of firmness you expect.
When it makes sense to buy
If you want a quick, affordable way to add cushion and breathability to a king bed, and you appreciate a fitted design that stays in place, this pad matches that intent. It’s a practical upgrade for guest rooms or shared beds where you don’t want to commit to a new mattress.
When you might want to pass
If you require a thicker, more luxurious top layer or you sleep very hot and need advanced cooling features beyond basic breathability, you might look for alternatives with more advanced materials or cooling tech.
What to check before buying
- Confirm mattress height compatibility: up to 21 inches.
- Consider your preferred feel: this adds softness but isn’t a heavy contouring topper.
- Review care expectations: machine wash on gentle cycle and air dry to maintain loft.
Practical usage example
Imagine waking up on a cool morning with a noticeably plusher bed without having to flip or redo your sheets. You roll over and the mattress top remains smooth under you, thanks to the deep-pocket design that keeps the pad neat all night.

FAQ
- Is this topper suitable for very hot sleepers? The cotton surface aids breathability, but it’s still a padded topper and may trap some heat if you are extremely sensitive.
- Will it fit a 21 inch mattress? Yes, the deep pocket is designed to stretch up to 21 inches.
- How is the feel compared to real down? It aims to mimic plush loft with synthetic fill—soft and cushiony, but not the same as real down.
Final decision: Is it worth it?
Worth considering if you want a straightforward, affordable way to soften a firmer king mattress and improve night-time breathability, with easy care and a secure fit. It may not satisfy buyers chasing premium down loft or extreme cooling, but it offers practical comfort for the average sleeper seeking better sleep quality today.
