## Description

The over-ear EarFun K1 is a wired headset made for kids, in a black-and-red finish. Its foldable design makes it easy to pack for school or travel. Need a simple way to listen and talk during online lessons? The built-in microphone and in-line controls support calls and everyday audio use.

## Best use cases

For schoolwork, the 3.5mm plug connects the K1 to compatible laptops, phones, and tablets, while the cable microphone supports online learning and communication. Children can use the in-line buttons to play or pause audio, answer or end calls, and skip tracks. At home, the SharePort lets a second pair of headphones connect for listening together without a separate splitter.

The adjustable sliders and soft ear cushions help tailor the fit, and the folding earcups make the headset easier to store in a backpack between classes. It is a practical alternative to wireless headphones when a child’s device has a 3.5mm audio jack and a direct wired connection suits the setup.

## Strengths

A built-in volume limiter offers 85dB and 94dB settings, a useful feature for families choosing headphones designed for children. The K1 also has 40mm drivers for stereo listening, with a 32-ohm impedance. Its wired connection keeps the listening setup straightforward: plug into a compatible audio jack and use the cable controls for common playback and call functions.

The customer feedback highlights the K1’s suitability for children and school use, as well as its comfort, fit, and sound. Durability comments are mixed: some buyers report that their headphones lasted through a school year, while others say theirs broke after a shorter period. The black-and-red color combination is another detail customers appreciate.
