## Description

The Motorbar cleaner head deep-cleans hard floors and carpets while its vanes clear wrapped long hair and pet hair as you clean.

Choose Auto, Eco, or Boost to match everyday floor care with longer runtime or focused spot cleaning. The LCD screen displays the selected mode, remaining runtime, and maintenance alerts.

Use it as a cordless stick vacuum for floors, then convert it to a handheld for stairs, upholstery, pet beds, and car interiors. It brings floor cleaning and above-floor tasks into one adaptable setup.

## Everyday use

For a mixed-floor home, the Motorbar cleaner head is designed to work across carpets and hard floors. Stiff nylon bristles reach into carpet, while anti-static carbon fiber filaments help release fine dust from hard surfaces. Hair-removal vanes clear the brush bar as you clean, a practical feature for homes with pets or long hair.

The three power modes offer different approaches to a cleaning session: Auto balances power and runtime for everyday tasks, Eco prioritizes longer runtime, and Boost is intended for intensive spot cleaning. Runtime is up to 60 minutes, with actual runtime varying by mode, floor type, dust level, and attachments. The LCD makes it easier to keep track of the selected setting and remaining time while moving between rooms.

For a quick pickup on furniture, stairs, or in a vehicle, convert the vacuum to handheld mode. The Hair screw tool is designed for upholstery and pet beds, while the crevice tool reaches narrow spaces and the mini soft dusting brush is suited to delicate surfaces. Buyers often highlight suction and the less bulky feel compared with traditional vacuums, feedback on battery life and ease of use is mixed, and some report reliability concerns.

## What stands out

The V11 Origin combines cordless floor cleaning with a handheld format, so a single vacuum can move from rugs and hard flooring to stairs, upholstery, and tighter spaces. Its included tools support those different tasks, while the wall-mounted dock charges the vacuum and stores tools together for convenient access. The hygienic bin ejection mechanism releases dust in a single action.

Compared with choosing a dedicated floor vacuum plus a separate handheld cleaner, this setup prioritizes one adaptable machine for both jobs. Its LCD also gives at-a-glance cleaning and maintenance information, and whole-machine filtration captures fine dust and expels cleaner air.

## Questions before you buy

**How do the power modes differ?** Auto is intended for everyday cleaning, Eco is designed to maximize runtime, and Boost is for intensive spot cleaning. The display shows the selected mode and remaining runtime.

**Can it clean both carpets and hard floors?** Yes. The Motorbar cleaner head is designed for both, with stiff nylon bristles for carpets and anti-static carbon fiber filaments for hard floors.

**What tools come with the vacuum?** The set includes a Hair screw tool, crevice tool, mini soft dusting brush, Motorbar cleaner head, wand, docking station, charger, and one lithium-ion battery.

## Is it worth it?

The Dyson V11 Origin is a practical fit for shoppers who want one cordless vacuum for whole-home floor care and above-floor cleaning. Its 185 AW suction, three cleaning modes, hair-clearing Motorbar head, LCD runtime display, and handheld conversion make it especially suited to homes where carpets, hard floors, pet hair, and furniture all call for different cleaning approaches.
