Dylviw LED Magnifying Desk Lamp with 5x Glass Lens, 3 Light Modes and Dimming

A real glass lens brings small details closer, while the built-in LED ring lights the work area. The Dylviw magnifying desk lamp offers 5x magnification for close-up tasks such as sewing, repair, reading and crafts. Choose a weighted base for tabletop use or attach the lamp with its C-clamp. Its adjustable arms and rotating head help direct the lens and light where you need them.

Technical overview

The 4.3-inch glass lens provides 5x magnification for working with small print and detailed projects. Around it, 72 LEDs deliver up to 1,500 lumens, with three color modes—white, warm and cool—and adjustable brightness from 10% to 100%. This lets you tailor the light to the task and your workspace. The ring arrangement provides even illumination across the viewing area.

• Lens: 4.3-inch glass, 5x magnification
• Lighting: 72 LEDs, up to 10W and 1,500 lumens
• Light settings: White, warm and cool, adjustable brightness from 10% to 100%
• Mounting: Weighted base or C-clamp for surfaces up to 2.1 inches thick
• Reach and positioning: Adjustable arms extend up to 20 inches, light head rotates 360 degrees
• Weight: 2.5 pounds

The two metal swivel arms use three knobs and four springs to position the lamp, while the rotatable head helps aim illumination without moving the entire setup. Use the base on a desk or workbench, or attach the clamp to a desk, shelf or work surface for a space-saving, hands-free arrangement. The clamp attaches without tools.

Usage tips

Set the lamp on its weighted base when you want a freestanding tabletop setup, or use the C-clamp to secure it to a compatible surface up to 2.1 inches thick. Position the arms and head so the lens sits over the work and the light falls across the area you are viewing. Select the color mode and brightness that suit the task and surrounding light. For example, when sewing or handling small repair parts, the magnification helps bring fine details into view while both hands remain available for the work.

Unlike a handheld magnifier, this lamp stays positioned over the work, combining magnification and illumination in one fixture. That makes it a practical choice for a dedicated craft or repair station, and the clamp offers another setup when desk space is limited. The three light colors and adjustable brightness also give you more control than a magnifier without built-in lighting.

Who it’s for

This lamp is designed for people who regularly work at close range, including readers handling small print, crafters, sewers, hobbyists, and anyone doing detailed repair, carving, manicure or soldering work. Its glass lens, adjustable lighting and movable arms bring the viewing and lighting setup together, whether the task is at a desk or workbench. The magnification and hands-free positioning can also be useful for older adults or people who want a magnifying aid for detailed everyday tasks.

Buying verdict

Choose the Dylviw when your close-up work calls for both magnification and directed light, rather than a separate handheld magnifier and desk lamp. The 5x glass lens supports detailed viewing, while the three color modes, adjustable brightness and two mounting options make it easy to arrange a workspace around reading, crafts or repairs. It is especially suited to a regular work area where keeping the lens and light in position makes hands-free work more convenient.
