## Description

## Quick sizing guide

Getting a sanding strip to fit your block can be awkward when you’re working across a long panel. This roll lets you cut the length you need instead of relying on pre-cut sheets.

It measures 2-3/4 inches wide and 20 yards long. The pressure-sensitive adhesive backing peels away for attachment, and the paper can be trimmed to suit the sanding job.

Use it with a longboard, air file sander, or hand sanding block listed for sticky-back paper. Before cutting, compare the roll’s width with the surface your tool accepts, the listed width won’t necessarily suit every setup. Why choose a fixed-length sheet when you can cut a strip for the block in front of you?

## Pros

- The continuous roll makes it easier to cut shorter pieces or longer strips for panel sanding, rather than keeping several pre-cut sizes on hand.
- Its self-adhesive backing is designed to attach to compatible sanding blocks and air file sanders, with an easy-peel liner for setup.
- The 320-grit aluminum oxide abrasive is described as med-fine and clog-resistant, with zirconia alumina in the abrasive blend. That makes it a candidate for paint detailing, color-surface sanding, woodworking, and metalworking.
- A roll format can be practical when you want to control strip length for different jobs. For example, you could cut a long piece for a longboard and a shorter one for a hand block.

One tradeoff is the fixed 2-3/4-inch width: the cut-to-length format offers flexibility in length, not width. And while the product is described as clog-resistant, that does not tell you how it will perform with every coating, wood, or metal surface.

## Is it worth it?

Worth considering if you regularly sand broad, relatively flat surfaces and want to cut the paper to the length your block needs. The adhesive backing and roll format are the main reasons to choose this over loose sheets or pre-cut abrasives, especially when switching between a longboard and a hand block during a paint-prep or woodworking task.

It may not suit you if your tool needs a different paper width, or if your work calls for a coarser or finer grit than 320. The listing names several applications, but it doesn’t specify a particular finish, surface condition, or sanding sequence, so choose based on the grit and fit your job requires. If you need a precisely matched abrasive for a specific tool or finish, a purpose-sized option may be a better fit.
