## Description

## Fit and sizing

For a bedroom or home office where you want keyless entry, the DREMUSOUD E008 combines a fingerprint reader with keypad access in a door knob designed for most standard US residential doors. Its reversible handle works on left- or right-handed doors, making it easier to match the lock to your door’s orientation.

It fits doors 1-3/8" to 2-1/8" thick, with a 2-1/8" cross bore and a 2-3/8" or 2-3/4" backset. Installation uses a screwdriver and requires no drilling, so it suits a straightforward replacement project when the door matches these dimensions.

## Where it shines

Five entry options give household members a choice of how to unlock the door: fingerprint, passcode, IC card, smart app, or mechanical key. That flexibility is useful in a shared bedroom, home office, or rental property, where different people may prefer different access methods. The fingerprint reader supports up to 100 fingerprints, while the keypad stores up to 50 passcodes.

The anti-peep passcode feature is designed to let you enter a code without making the correct sequence obvious to someone nearby. A low-battery alarm helps signal when it is time to replace the batteries. If the batteries run out, the USB-C emergency port provides another way to power the lock for access. The lock requires four AAA batteries, which are not included.

Buyers often highlight the easy installation and convenient choice of unlocking methods. For a home project, that combination can make this a practical alternative to a basic keyed knob when you want fingerprint and keypad access without drilling new holes in a compatible door.
