## Description

At 6.1 inches long and 2.8 inches high, this DreamSky wooden digital alarm clock adds a compact, rectangular display to a nightstand, desk, or shelf. Its large 1.8-inch digits are easy to read from across a room.

The black, wood-style design brings a decorative touch to a bedroom or office while keeping the time display clear and simple. It runs on corded power, with the included adapter providing power for the illuminated display.

Choose a clock that makes the time easy to see, or prioritize a quieter bedside setup with adjustable light and alarm volume. This model brings both controls together, along with a snooze function and straightforward time-setting options.

## What to know

The display has six brightness levels, so you can set it for a darker bedroom at night or a brighter view during the day. Five alarm-volume levels range from 70 to 105 dB, giving you a choice of sound level for your morning routine. A 9-minute snooze adds a little extra rest when you need it.

A dedicated DST button makes daylight saving time changes simple, and the clock can switch between 12-hour and 24-hour time formats. Its wooden style and compact footprint suit a nightstand as well as a living room, kitchen, dorm, or home office. If your priority is a prominent time display, the large digits stand out, if you want decor that also serves a practical purpose, the wood-inspired design helps the clock blend into a room.

## Getting the most from it

Keep the clock plugged in to use its illuminated time display. The included adapter powers the clock, while battery backup preserves the alarm function and time settings during a power outage. Backup batteries are not included, and they do not keep the display lit. This arrangement is useful for a bedside clock: everyday viewing uses corded power, while backup can help retain key settings if power is interrupted.

Use the dimmer to choose a display brightness that works for the room and time of day, then set the alarm volume to your preference. The controls let you tailor both the visible display and the wake-up sound instead of relying on one fixed brightness or volume.

## How to use it

Place the clock on a bedside table, desk, or another indoor surface where its display is easy to see, and connect the adapter for normal operation. Set the time and alarm, choose 12- or 24-hour format, and adjust brightness and volume to suit your routine. When the alarm sounds, the snooze function provides a 9-minute pause. The same clear display and adjustable settings make it practical for bedrooms, shared living spaces, and work areas where checking the time at a glance is helpful.

## Final verdict

This DreamSky clock is a practical fit for anyone who wants large, readable digits in a compact wooden-style design, with control over both display brightness and alarm volume. Its corded display, backup for the alarm and settings, DST button, and 12/24-hour options make it well suited to everyday bedside use, while its understated look also works on an office desk or living room shelf.
