## Description

A 1.7-inch platform pairs with a 5.5-inch block heel to create a striking profile while giving these pumps a substantial base. The square toe and ankle strap bring a polished, dress-ready finish.

A slip-resistant outsole adds grip on smooth surfaces, while the chunky heel is designed to provide support when you’re on your feet. The look works for weddings, parties, and other occasions where you want a more elevated outfit.

Choosing between a slim stiletto and a bolder platform heel? This pair leans into height, a statement silhouette, and a secure-looking ankle-strap design.

## How to use it

Style these closed-toe pumps with dresses or occasionwear for weddings and parties, or use them to add a dressier accent to everyday outfits. The square toe gives the front a modern shape, and the ankle strap completes the look with a defined detail at the ankle. For an event with smooth flooring, the slip-resistant outsole is a practical feature to have underfoot.

The block heel is a defining part of the design: it gives the shoe a bold profile and is intended to offer support while standing. If you’re planning an evening out, consider the heel height as part of your outfit choice and how you prefer to walk in elevated shoes.

## Pros

The platform-and-heel combination delivers a noticeable lift and a statement-making shape, while the square toe and ankle strap give the pumps a distinctive, coordinated look. A block heel offers a different feel and appearance from a narrow stiletto, making this design a natural choice when you want your footwear to stand out as part of a dress outfit. The slip-resistant outsole is designed to provide grip on smooth surfaces, and the closed toe makes the silhouette easy to pair with a range of dressy looks.

Buyers often praise the shoes’ appearance and describe them as comfortable and manageable to walk in. Feedback on sizing is mixed: some say the fit is true to size, while others find the shoes slightly large. Opinions on the heel height also vary, with some enjoying the added height and others finding it more than they prefer. That perspective can help when choosing between a dramatic platform pump and a lower-heeled dress shoe.

## What to clarify

**How high are the heel and platform?** The heel measures 5.5 inches, and the platform measures 1.7 inches.

**What occasions suit these pumps?** Their closed toe, square-toe shape, and ankle strap make them suited to dress outfits for weddings and parties, as well as other occasions where you want a more elevated look.

**Does the outsole offer grip?** The outsole is described as slip-resistant and designed to provide grip on smooth surfaces.

## Buying verdict

It’s a great fit if you want a dress pump with a bold platform, a substantial block heel, and polished details rather than a simple low heel. The square toe and ankle strap make the style distinctive, while the slip-resistant outsole adds a practical touch for occasions on smooth floors. Choose this pair to bring noticeable height and a statement finish to wedding, party, and evening outfits.
