## Description

Give outdoor cats a sheltered place to rest on a patio, in a garden, or on a balcony with the DRATO 118 cat house. Its double-decker design creates a dedicated shelter for outdoor use.

The sloped roof is designed to drain rainwater, while the polypropylene (PP) construction is made for everyday outdoor use. The insulated design helps provide a more comfortable place to settle in changing seasons.

With a roomy interior and tool-free assembly, this shelter brings together practical setup and a defined resting spot for cats at home or in a garden.

## Who it’s for

This cat house suits owners who want to provide outdoor cats with a sheltered place to rest, rather than relying on an open bed or a simple exposed spot. Its double-decker layout and spacious design make it useful for households with cats of different sizes, and the product is presented for kittens through large adult cats. Place it in a patio, garden, or balcony setting where cats can use a dedicated shelter close to home.

It can also serve as a designated resting space indoors. The modern style makes it a natural fit for living areas as well as outdoor spaces, so the shelter can be positioned where it works best for the cat’s routine.

## Key specifications

- Type: Double-decker outdoor cat house
- Material: Polypropylene (PP)
- Dimensions: 24.65 inches deep x 22.21 inches wide x 21.5 inches high
- Assembly: Tool-free, with step-by-step instructions
- Roof: Sloped design intended to drain rainwater

## What stands out

The roof shape serves a practical purpose: it directs rainwater away from the top of the shelter, helping keep the resting area dry in rainy conditions. For an outdoor cat, that creates a more protected place to settle than an uncovered bed. The PP construction is described as durable for daily use, including scratching and activity, making it a practical material for a regular cat resting spot.

The insulated design is intended to retain warmth in winter and help block heat in summer. That seasonal focus makes the shelter useful beyond a single weather window, whether it is placed in a garden or used as a dedicated cat space indoors. Its roomy layout gives cats space to stretch out or curl up, while the double-decker format adds a distinct two-level arrangement.

Setup is designed to be straightforward: assembly is tool-free and uses step-by-step instructions. Buyer feedback also highlights easy assembly, roomy dimensions, appearance, and cleaning. Opinions on ease of use are mixed, one reported detail is that the rear panels can be removed for cleaning. The modern look helps the shelter sit comfortably alongside other patio or home furnishings without making its practical purpose the only consideration.

## Should you buy it?

Choose the DRATO 118 if you want a purpose-built cat shelter with a sloped rain-draining roof, PP construction, and a spacious double-decker design. It brings together a defined resting place and seasonal insulation for cats using a patio, garden, balcony, or indoor space. The tool-free setup also makes it a straightforward option when you want to add a dedicated shelter without a more involved assembly process.
