Drainsoon RMHS35-5P 35-Inch Drain Snake, Reusable 5-Pack with 270-Bristle Head

A slow shower drain or bathroom sink can often be tackled with a tool that reaches beyond the drain opening. The Drainsoon RMHS35-5P is a reusable drain snake designed to pull out hair, lint, and soap scum mechanically.

Its 35-inch reach helps access deeper clogs, while the slim 0.23-inch profile is made to fit narrow drain openings. The five-pack gives you multiple snakes for household drain cleaning.

A brush head with 270 bristles grips debris for removal. After use, remove the debris and rinse the tool so it is ready to use again.

Size & fit

At 35 inches long and 0.23 inches wide, this snake is designed for shower, bathtub, bathroom sink, and kitchen sink drains. Its flexible stainless steel wire has a nylon layer, allowing it to bend along curved pipe paths, including L-, P-, U-, and S-shaped sections. Before inserting it, bend the brush head slightly to help guide it through a curve. If it meets resistance, adjust the angle rather than forcing it.

For a typical hair clog, insert the head into the drain, twist several times to catch the debris, then pull it out slowly. You can repeat from another angle if needed. Remove the collected material and rinse the brush after cleaning. This is a straightforward, chemical-free approach for people who prefer a reusable mechanical tool over a liquid drain cleaner.

Pros

The densely arranged bristles are intended to catch hair and buildup instead of simply pushing them farther into the pipe. The long, narrow design helps reach beyond the drain entrance, and the flexible metal core with a nylon layer supports movement through curved sections. Since the tool can be cleaned and reused, it suits routine household drain maintenance as well as a specific clog-clearing task.

Customers often highlight its ability to reach into drains and remove hair, along with its flexibility through pipe curves and ease of cleaning. Their feedback also points to use in both sinks and showers, making the format useful across several common household drains.

A practical use case is clearing hair from a shower drain: guide the slightly bent head into the opening, twist to collect debris, and draw the snake out slowly. Rinse it afterward. For residue, the manufacturer recommends flushing the drain with hot water after removal.
