## Description

Two-cat households that need meals served on a consistent schedule can use the DownyPaws DPAF200-BK to dispense food into two separate bowls from one shared feeder. Its opposite-facing stainless steel bowls give each cat a designated eating space, while scheduled portions help make daily feeding more structured.

The feeder runs on a rechargeable battery for cordless placement or can be used with its included power adapter. A recorded meal call lets you add a familiar voice to feeding time.

## Quick overview
A shared dispensing system serves both bowls, helping distribute food evenly between them. Program one to six meals per day, with zero to 12 portions per meal, each portion is approximately 1/16 cup (8.5 g). The 4.5 L food tank holds dry food, including kibble and suitable freeze-dried pieces, and works with dry food sized from 2 to 18 mm.

The built-in rechargeable battery provides 90+ days of cordless use. For a plugged-in setup, the feeder also supports wired use and includes a 3.9 ft chew-resistant power cord. A secure lid, self-closing rotor, and stable base help manage curious paws and movement around the feeder. The enclosed dispensing design and included desiccant bag help keep kibble dry between meals.

## Fit and sizing
The feeder measures 7.48 inches long by 7.2 inches wide by 9.84 inches high, useful dimensions to consider when choosing a spot for the unit and its two bowls. Its opposite-facing bowl arrangement gives both cats separate access points at the same station. Each bowl is removable stainless steel, and the overall design is intended for dry food rather than wet meals.

For homes deciding between one shared feeding station and separate feeders, this model combines both cats’ portions in a single timed unit. That arrangement suits a shared feeding area, while the dual bowls help give each cat its own place to eat.

## How to use it
Set the schedule using the turn, press, and confirm controls. Choose the number of meals and portions for each meal to match the feeding routine. The programmed memory saves settings through power interruptions, so the schedule remains in place when power is disrupted. A personalized meal call can be recorded for up to 30 seconds and played at mealtime.

Fill the tank with compatible dry food and position the two bowls beneath the outlets. The feeder’s shared dispensing system sends food to both sides. For routine cleaning, remove the food tank, lid, rotor, and stainless steel bowls. Wipe the main unit with a soft, damp cloth, do not rinse or immerse it in water.

## Questions before you buy
**Can it feed two cats at the same time?** The feeder dispenses through a shared system into two opposite-facing bowls, giving each cat a separate eating space at the same station.

**What feeding schedule can I program?** Set one to six meals per day and zero to 12 portions per meal. Each portion is approximately 1/16 cup (8.5 g).

**Can I place it away from an outlet?** Yes. Its rechargeable battery supports cordless use for 90+ days, and it can also operate wired with the included power adapter and 3.9 ft cord.

## Buying verdict
The DPAF200-BK is a practical fit for two-cat homes looking to schedule dry-food meals through one shared unit without placing both cats at a single bowl. Dual stainless steel bowls, adjustable meal portions, a large 4.5 L tank, and rechargeable or wired operation make it well suited to a planned feeding station at home.
