dormzie Handheld Vacuum, 1.3 lb

A quick cleanup after a drive, a spill near the desk, or pet hair on a chair calls for something easier to grab than a full-size vacuum. The dormzie cordless handheld vacuum is designed for those smaller jobs, with a lightweight body, two suction modes, and attachments for different surfaces and tight spots. Its Type-C charging and compact form make it easier to keep nearby, though the stated runtime is better suited to touch-ups than a long, uninterrupted whole-home clean.

Technical details

The vacuum weighs 1.3 pounds and has a 6000mAh battery. It charges through Type-C, with a full charge taking up to 3.5 hours, and the listed runtime is up to 25–30 minutes. Those figures give a useful sense of the tradeoff: it is portable for quick passes, but a larger cleaning session may need a recharge between uses.

The brushless motor is listed at up to 100,000 rpm, with suction rated up to 19,000 Pa and two modes. A translucent 8.7-ounce dust bowl lets you see when it needs emptying. The washable, reusable HEPA filter is described as capturing up to 95% of dust and particles, and a replacement filter is included. These performance figures are according to the maker, they don’t establish how it will handle every kind of debris or surface.

Getting the most from it

The included brush is intended for pet hair on fabric and dust on multiple surfaces. A long nozzle and flexible hose offer another approach for narrow or awkward areas, such as reaching between car seats or along the edge of a cabinet. That makes this more versatile than a bare handheld vacuum, while a full-size vacuum remains the better fit for regular floor-to-floor cleaning.

It suits you if you want a compact cleaner for scattered messes in a car, home, or office and value attachments over a larger dust capacity. Not the best choice if you need long run time for extensive cleaning or want a product with stated compatibility details for specific vehicles or devices, none are provided here.

Usage tips

For a quick car cleanup, use the long nozzle to pick up loose crumbs in seat gaps, then switch to the brush for hair on fabric. Empty the bowl when it is full, and clean the washable filter as needed before putting it back into use. Keeping the vacuum and accessories together in a cupboard or garage may also make those small jobs less of a production.

The main practical limit is the balance between portability and session length. A 25–30-minute maximum runtime can work for spot cleaning, but the actual time available may vary with use, and the product details do not say how long either suction mode lasts. Plan around the stated range rather than expecting it to replace a larger vacuum for a deep clean.

Questions before you buy

How does it charge? It uses Type-C charging, and the listed full-charge time is up to 3.5 hours.

Can the filter be reused? The HEPA filter is described as washable and reusable, a replacement filter is also included.

What comes with it for tight spaces? The listed accessories include a long nozzle and a flexible hose, along with a brush for fabric and other surfaces.

Should you buy it?

Choose the dormzie if your priority is a lightweight cordless vacuum for occasional car and household messes, and the brush, nozzle, and hose match the jobs you actually expect to tackle. Its compact size and Type-C charging favor convenience, the limited stated runtime and lack of detailed vehicle compatibility information make it a less convincing pick for extended cleaning or buyers who need fit details before choosing. If your cleaning routine is mostly quick pickups rather than whole-room sessions, its format makes sense.
