## Description

## Tips for day-to-day use

Made from ceramic and holding 2.1 liters/71 oz, the DOOOB fountain gives cats and small dogs a recirculating water source with a choice of two flow styles: a copper spout or a bubbling fountain. The moving water offers a different drinking setup from a still bowl, while the ceramic reservoir brings a smooth, easy-to-clean surface to your pet’s routine.

Keep the water topped up so the pump stays covered during operation. For regular care, the manufacturer recommends cleaning the fountain and pump and replacing the filter cartridge every 1–2 weeks, depending on how many pets use it. The integrated pump design is made to simplify removal for cleaning and installation.

## Benefits

A carbon filter and sponge work together as a double filtration system. The sponge catches impurities, while the carbon filter captures hair and helps soften the water. That setup supports a cleaner circulating supply between routine cleanings. Three carbon filters and three sponge filters are listed with the fountain, so you have replacements available for ongoing maintenance.

The pump is rated below 30 dB and uses 0.7 W, making quiet operation a central part of its design for shared living spaces and nighttime routines. Customer feedback also highlights the quiet motor, ceramic construction, straightforward setup and cleaning, and cats’ interest in using the fountain. Opinions on overall value are mixed, so the strongest reasons to choose this model are its ceramic format, filtration system, and two water-flow options.

## The essentials

- Type: Automatic pet water fountain
- Material: Ceramic
- Color: White
- Capacity: 2.1 liters/71 oz
- Water flow: Copper spout and fountain modes
- Filtration: Carbon filter and sponge system

The fountain suits a home looking to replace or supplement a still water bowl with a circulating option. Choose the spout or fountain flow to give your pet two ways to approach the water, and keep the reservoir filled as part of everyday use. Its ceramic construction is also a practical fit for owners who prefer a ceramic drinking surface and want a fountain that can be disassembled for cleaning.

## When it makes sense

You’ll appreciate it if you want a ceramic fountain with a copper spout, filtration, and a choice of water flow in one compact pet-watering setup. It can serve cats or small dogs, with a 2.1-liter/71-ounce reservoir and replacement filters included for routine care. For households weighing a circulating fountain against a basic bowl, the DOOOB S001 adds moving water and filtration while keeping maintenance straightforward: top it up, clean the pump and fountain regularly, and replace the filter cartridge on the recommended schedule.
