Donner EC974 Wireless Bluetooth Page Turner Pedal, Rechargeable, 5 Modes

Following a digital score calls for a different setup than scrolling lyrics or a teleprompter script. The Donner EC974 lets you control compatible apps with your foot, so your hands can stay with your instrument or another task.

For a rehearsal or performance, use the pedals to move through music without reaching for a screen. For reading or media control, select a mode that sends commands supported by the app you use.

Its wireless Bluetooth connection and rechargeable battery make it a practical controller for music stands, desks, and other places where hands-free navigation helps.

Key specifications

• Type: Wireless Bluetooth foot pedal for page turning and media control

The two foot switches send different commands depending on the selected mode. That gives you options for moving through a digital score, scrolling lyrics or guitar tabs, advancing a teleprompter, or controlling media. Five mode buttons let you match the pedal’s input to the command style an app recognizes. It is designed for use with phones and tablets, including iPad and Android devices, as well as Mac and PC.

Requirements

The device connects wirelessly over Bluetooth. The app must support external Bluetooth pedals for the controls to work, check its settings for that option and choose the mode that matches its controls. Windows 10 is listed as the minimum operating system version for Windows use. A USB cable is included for charging the built-in battery.

Practical tips

Before a rehearsal or presentation, pair the pedal with your device and test the available modes in the app. A music-reading app may respond to page-up/page-down commands, while another app may use arrow keys or Space/Enter. Selecting the right mode helps make the pedal’s input suit the task rather than relying on a single control pattern.

For example, place the pedal where either foot can reach it while you keep your hands on your instrument, then use the switches to navigate a score or guitar tabs. Its lightweight design and compact footprint make it easy to position near a music stand or desk. The wireless range is up to 10M / 33 Ft, so the device can remain within that operating distance while you control the app.

Buyers often describe setup and Bluetooth pairing as straightforward, and some appreciate the battery life during regular playing sessions. Feedback on page turning and long-term reliability is mixed: some say pages advance as expected, while others report occasional double turns or the pedal stopping after a period of use. Testing the selected mode with your app before relying on it for a performance is a useful way to confirm the control behavior for your setup.

Buying verdict

The Donner EC974 is a focused choice for musicians and readers who want hands-free control of a compatible app. Its rechargeable design, selectable command modes, and wireless operation suit digital sheet music, lyrics, guitar tabs, teleprompter use, and media control. Choose it when foot-operated navigation fits your setup better than reaching for the screen between pages.
