## Description

## Technical details

The green Santa print gives this cotton collar a clear holiday look without adding a bulky accessory to your dog’s neck. Its lightweight fabric is intended to feel comfortable for seasonal outings and everyday wear during the Christmas season.

The collar has a plastic buckle for putting it on and taking it off, plus an adjustable buckle and a D-ring for attaching a tag or leash. The D-ring is a useful detail if you want one collar for both identification and walks, though the leash and tag are not listed as included.

Size M measures 1.2 inches wide and adjusts from 14.1 to 21.2 inches in length. The listed material is cotton, and cleaning is by hand wash.

## Compatibility & requirements

The listing describes this collar as suitable for small and medium dogs, but fit depends on your dog’s neck measurement rather than the size label alone. Measure around the neck before choosing, then compare the result with the sizing information. The available details here cover size M only, so they do not establish the dimensions of other sizes or confirm a fit for every dog described as small or medium.

It suits you if you want a festive collar with a recognizable Santa design, a fabric feel, and a ring for a leash or ID tag. If your dog is between sizes, has a particularly sensitive fit preference, or needs a specific collar width, the information provided may not settle the choice. You may want to skip it if you need a non-holiday design or a collar with a material or closure other than cotton and a plastic buckle.

## Usage tips

Before a Christmas walk, fasten the collar and check that it sits comfortably rather than relying on the size name alone. Attach a tag or leash to the D-ring, and make sure the buckle is fully closed. For example, the green Santa pattern can add a seasonal touch to a quick neighborhood outing without requiring a separate costume.

The care instructions call for hand washing to help avoid scratching the buckle. That means it is less convenient than a collar you can simply put in a washing machine, especially if you expect frequent cleaning. Let the collar dry before putting it back on your dog.

## Practical doubts

**Can it hold a leash or ID tag?** The D-ring is described as a place to attach a dog tag or leash, the listing does not say either item comes with the collar.

**How do I choose size M?** Measure your dog’s neck and compare it with the stated 14.1-to-21.2-inch adjustable length. Don’t select by breed name alone.

**How should I clean it?** Hand wash it. The care note specifically recommends this to avoid scratching the plastic buckle.

## When it makes sense

This collar makes most sense for someone looking for a lightweight cotton option with a distinctly Christmas-themed green Santa design, rather than a plain collar intended to blend in year-round. Its adjustable length and attachment ring cover the basic needs described, while hand washing is a small but real care tradeoff. Choose it when the holiday look and size M measurements suit your dog, pass if you need confirmed sizing beyond the details provided, machine-wash convenience, or a different style of collar.
