Dogcheer Dog Coat, 3XL

What matters most

For short-haired dogs, puppies, seniors, and other dogs that get cold easily, this Dogcheer coat is designed to add warmth on chilly walks. Its double-layer fleece lining and water-resistant polyester shell address cold-weather comfort without making it a dedicated rain jacket.

The pullover style, adjustable belly buckles, and zippered leash opening keep the design focused on everyday outings. Reflective strips on the back are another practical touch for walks when visibility is low.

Picture heading out on a brisk evening walk: the fleece lining adds a warm layer, while the leash opening lets you connect a leash without taking the coat off. It makes sense if warmth and walk-friendly details matter more than full rain protection.

Size & fit

This listing is for size 3XL, but it does not provide garment measurements, so the size label alone cannot confirm whether it will fit a particular dog. Measure your dog’s neck, chest, and back length, then choose based on those measurements rather than breed or weight. The maker’s sizing guidance gives back length priority for long-bodied dogs and chest girth priority for broad-chested dogs, if measurements fall between sizes, it advises sizing up.

The belly buckles are adjustable to help fine-tune the fit. Keep in mind that a coat that fits the chest but is too short along the back may not provide the coverage you want, so compare all three measurements before choosing.

Tips for day-to-day use

The opening for a leash is covered by a zipper, allowing access to a collar or harness connection while the jacket stays on. An inner fur guard is intended to keep fur away from the zipper. The foldable plush collar can add coverage around the neck and ears, while the reflective strips may make the dog easier to spot in dim conditions, they do not replace a leash or other visibility precautions.

The shell is described as water-resistant and suited to light rain, snow, wind, and moisture. According to the maker, it is not intended to work as a standalone raincoat. For wet-weather walks where staying dry is the main priority, a dedicated rain jacket is a more suitable approach. The coat is machine washable on a gentle cycle, which may help with routine care after outdoor use.

Questions before you buy

Can you attach a leash without removing the coat? Yes. The zippered opening is designed to let you reach a collar or harness connection while the jacket is on.

Is it meant for heavy rain? No. The shell is water-resistant, but the listing says the coat is not a standalone raincoat.

How should you wash it? The maker lists machine washing on a gentle cycle. No further care instructions are provided.

Should you buy it?

Not the best choice if your dog needs reliable rain protection as the main job of its outerwear, or if you cannot match its measurements to the 3XL size. For a cold-sensitive dog that needs an extra layer for winter walks, this coat combines fleece warmth, adjustable fastening, and a leash opening in one pullover design. That makes it a more practical fit than a basic sweater when visibility and leash access matter, while a more weather-focused coat makes more sense for persistently wet outings.
