## Description

This pack of stair treads brings safer, quieter steps to busy homes. Designed for wooden steps but suitable for marble, tile and glass, these stair treads for wooden steps combine a plush polyester surface with a full coverage TPR adhesive backing to reduce slips and dampen footfall. The result is a more comfortable surface for bare feet and added traction for kids, seniors and pets, according to the manufacturer.

## Key points

Soft underfoot yet durable, the carpet surface uses high density polyester fibers for everyday comfort and wear resistance. The TPR backing offers full coverage adhesion that helps prevent edges from lifting and stops the runner from sliding, while also allowing repositioning without leaving residue. These treads help cut stair noise and feel warmer than bare wood in cold months. They come in a neutral color palette to blend with modern or classic decor. 🐾

## Tech specs

- Name: **DK177 - Peldaños de escalera**
- Material: Polyester fiber face
- Size: 8 x 30 inches
- Pieces: 15 per pack
- Backing: TPR self adhesive
- Surfaces: Wood, marble, tile, glass
- Care: Vacuum or machine wash recommended

## Usage tips

Installation is simple and tool free. Clean each step first, peel the backing film, position the tread and press firmly for a secure bond. If a stair has odd corners you can trim the tread with scissors for a tailored fit. For cleaning vacuum regularly to remove dust and pet hair, and machine wash when needed, then air dry away from heat. Avoid tumble drying to preserve adhesive performance. 🧼

## Benefits

**DK177 - Peldaños de escalera** delivers a practical mix of grip and comfort. The cushioned layer helps reduce noise from footsteps and the dense fibers feel gentle on bare feet, while the adhesive backing minimizes movement and reapplication leaves no sticky residue. Keep in mind that adhesion performs best on smooth, flat steps and may not bond as strongly to textured or very uneven surfaces. For households with children or older adults these treads add a visible safety upgrade without major installation work. 🛠️
