## Description

This expansion adds fresh visual prompts to the Dixit experience with 84 new illustrated cards that invite imaginative storytelling and playful deduction for family and friends. Perfect for group game nights, this set increases variety and replayability while keeping the original mechanics intact, allowing 3 to 6 players to create short narratives and guess one another’s clues.

## Key Points

Dixit Odyssey Expansion supplies 84 cards of new artwork that broaden the themes and images available during play. The cards are crafted to spark unusual associations and encourage creative descriptions, making turns feel less predictable and more surprising. According to the manufacturer, this expansion is compatible with existing Dixit sets and can be integrated directly into your current deck to refresh sessions that have become familiar.

## Technical Specifications

- Name: **Asmodee Dixit Odyssey Board Game Expansion**
- Cards included: 84
- Players: 3-6 players
- Recommended age: 8+ years
- Approximate playtime: 30 minutes

## Practical Tips

When adding these cards to your Dixit collection, shuffle them thoroughly with your existing deck to ensure a balanced mix of older and newer imagery. For groups that enjoy more abstract clues, consider allowing longer phrases during the storyteller’s turn to take advantage of the expansion’s evocative art. For younger players, keep prompts simple and encourage descriptive gestures or sounds to help them participate comfortably.

## The Best of This Model

The new illustrations by Piero with color work by Marie Cadouat bring distinctive scenes that often blend whimsy and subtle emotion, enhancing the emotional range available for clues. Bold visuals make some cards immediately striking while others invite closer inspection, which can change the rhythm of the game and reward players who pay attention to detail. Consider that, as an expansion, it does not change rules or components beyond the new cards, and players will need an existing Dixit base game to play.
