## Description

The Diaper Genie Platinum Pail keeps nursery odors under control with a stainless steel design that looks neat and cleans easily. This diaper pail combines odor-lock clamps and a soft-close lid to reduce smells and noise while your baby sleeps, and a foot pedal lets you open it hands-free for quick one-handed use.

## Key points

Durable stainless steel construction gives the pail a solid feel and a clean finish that fits a modern nursery. The refill system uses an Easy Roll refill with 18 perforated bags, and according to the manufacturer the roll can hold up to 846 newborn diapers and last up to 5 months under typical use. The pail’s wide disposal opening and capacity for up to 47 newborn diapers mean fewer trips to change the bag, and the unit is available in multiple colors including Lily White.

## Tech specs

- Name: Diaper Genie Platinum Pail
- Material: Stainless Steel
- Color: Lily White
- Capacity: 47 diapers
- Format: Easy Roll refill with 18 bags

## Pros

You’ll notice quieter changes thanks to the soft-close lid, and the foot pedal makes single-handed operation simple when you’re holding a baby. The odor-lock clamps are effective at keeping smells contained between changes, and using one Easy Roll refill instead of several small refills reduces overall plastic usage, according to the manufacturer. A small limitation is that the pail still needs periodic emptying depending on usage patterns, so factor that into how often you plan to change refills.

## Usage tips

It’s a great fit if you value low-noise operation and strong odor control in a nursery, and it makes sense if you prefer a hands-free disposal option while handling a newborn. For best results, replace the Easy Roll refill before it nears the end of its capacity to maintain optimal odor sealing and easy bag removal.
