## Description

Turn on a floor lamp from the couch or control a hard-to-reach light without walking over to its plug. The DEWENWILS BH9912U-18B-2 pairs a plug-in outlet switch with two remotes for convenient wireless on/off control.

Setup is plug-and-play, with no wiring required. The RF remote works through walls and doors, with a range of up to 100 feet in open areas.

Use it for indoor lighting and other compatible household appliances. The outlet switch is rated for loads up to 1,200W, making it a practical alternative to adding a hardwired switch when plug-in control suits the space.

## Product specs

The receiver plugs into a wall outlet, while the remote can be mounted on its base or removed for handheld use. That gives you the choice of a familiar wall-switch location or a remote kept near your usual seat or bedside. The receiver’s compact design occupies one outlet without blocking adjacent sockets.

The RF control does not require Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, or an app. Plug in the receiver, then use the remote to operate a compatible device. For everyday use, this is a more direct approach than installing a wired wall switch: it provides remote control without adding wiring.

## Tips for day-to-day use

Place the receiver between the wall outlet and the device you want to control, then keep a remote where it is convenient—such as near a doorway, couch, or bed. For example, a lamp connected to the receiver can be switched from the doorway rather than reached by hand. The removable remote also makes it easy to carry control to another spot when needed.

Buyers frequently highlight the straightforward operation and the convenience of having two remotes available in different locations. Some also appreciate the wall-mounting option, which keeps a remote in a familiar switch-like position. These comments reflect user impressions, the practical benefit is the flexibility to choose a mounted or handheld remote for your routine.

## Box contents

The set includes two remote controls and one plug-in outlet switch. Use the remotes from separate locations to control the device connected to the receiver, such as a lamp or indoor light.

## Final verdict

For a room with a lamp, pendant, or other compatible plug-in appliance that is awkward to reach, this DEWENWILS switch adds simple remote on/off control without rewiring. Its two remotes, plug-and-play setup, and 100-foot open-area RF range make it especially useful when you want control near more than one spot in the room.
