DELSEY PARIS Checked Suitcase, 28-Inch

Highlights

If you need room for an extended trip, a large checked suitcase can make more sense than packing light around a smaller case. The DELSEY PARIS Chatelet Air 2.0 offers 110.25L of capacity, with compression straps, zippered pockets, and a removable laundry and shoe bag to help keep clothes and worn items apart. Its chocolate brown polycarbonate shell is accented with vegan leather and includes recycled materials.

At 11.1 lbs, it has substantial capacity without being especially heavy for its size. Dual-density double-spinner wheels are designed to roll in multiple directions, while corner protectors add coverage around vulnerable edges.

How to use it

This case is built for checked travel rather than quick overnight trips. Pack clothing into the main compartment, use the straps to hold it in place, and put shoes or laundry in the removable bag. The zippered pockets give smaller items a designated spot, so they are less likely to get buried when you open the case at your destination.

The recessed, three-dial TSA-accepted lock is intended to let TSA agents inspect the suitcase without damaging it. The Securitech zipper is described as more resistant to intrusion than a standard zipper, it adds a security-minded feature, but it does not make the luggage theft-proof.

Practical tips

Ten or more days of clothes, an extra pair of shoes, or separate bags for clean and worn items can make the 110.25L interior useful. Picture opening it in a hotel room and finding the laundry bag ready for worn clothes instead of mixing them back into the clean packing. For a weekend trip or a trip with strict baggage limits, though, the large format may be more case than you need.

Keep the listed exterior dimensions in mind: 30 x 20.75 x 12.75 inches, including handles and wheels. Tenha en cuenta que airline checked-bag size rules vary, without that measurement, the listed dimensions alone cannot confirm whether a specific airline will accept it without an extra fee. A more compact checked suitcase may be easier if you want to travel with less bulk.

The polycarbonate shell and corner protectors also suit travelers who want a hard-sided case with added edge protection. It might not be a great match if you pack minimally, prefer a smaller case that is easier to manage, or need to meet a particular airline’s size limit without checking its policy. Choose it for capacity and built-in organization, choose a smaller format when keeping luggage compact matters more.
