DAMAYCA DM25SPL01 Solar Post Cap Lights, 8-Pack, Dual White Modes

Warm and cool white LED modes let these solar post cap lights shift the feel of a fence or deck after dark. Want a softer glow for a patio or a cooler accent along a garden fence? Choose a setting with the push button. The eight-light set adds coordinated illumination across multiple posts without requiring wiring.

Everyday use

Place the lights on compatible posts in a sunny location so their solar panels can charge during the day, they turn on automatically at night. The black, square caps have a classic lantern-inspired look, with a clear shade that shows the Edison-style bulb. Use them to define a deck railing, add light along a fence, or bring a decorative touch to garden and patio posts. At 20 lumens, each light is suited to accent lighting rather than serving as a primary area light.

Compared with wired post fixtures, this solar approach avoids running electrical wiring to each post. That can make it a practical way to add light across several points along an outdoor boundary. The set includes mounting hardware and an instruction manual, installation uses screws to secure each light in place.

Strengths

Two selectable color temperatures give you a simple way to coordinate the light with the setting: warm white for a relaxed outdoor atmosphere or cool white for a different visual tone. The push-button control keeps the change straightforward. A set of eight helps create a consistent look along a run of fence or around a deck, rather than mixing separate fixtures. The black plastic body and square profile suit a range of outdoor posts, while the waterproof design is intended for outdoor conditions such as rain and snow.

Buyers often highlight the appearance after dark and the straightforward installation, and some appreciate having two light settings. Feedback on brightness is mixed, so the 20-lumen output is best considered as a decorative marker along posts, not as broad coverage for an entire yard or work area.

Worth noting

The lights fit 4x4, 5x5, and 6x6 wooden posts, corresponding to actual post sizes of 3.5x3.5, 4.5x4.5, and 5.5x5.5 inches. For vinyl posts, the listed fits are 4x4 and 5x5 inches, with actual sizes of 4x4 and 5x5 inches. Each cap measures 5.5 x 5.5 x 4 inches. Match the post’s actual size to the listed fit before installation. For solar charging, position the fixtures where they receive good sunlight, the product is designed to provide all-night illumination when fully charged.
