## Description

This heavy duty Dacrown Cat8 cable brings higher bandwidth and shielded protection for wired networks. If you need fast, stable connections for streaming, gaming, or server links, this cable supports emerging 25GBASE-T and 40GBASE-T setups with reduced interference.

Cat8 Ethernet cable runs at 2000 MHz and aims to cut crosstalk in congested racks and home wiring. Use it where cable performance and weather resistance matter for short runs up to 50 feet.

If you prioritize raw throughput, choose this shielded option, if you prefer thinner, more flexible cords you might look elsewhere.

## Key features

This cable is built for short high-speed links between switches, routers and servers and for demanding home networks. It features a multi-layer shield and gold-plated RJ45 connectors that improve contact reliability and help against corrosion. The outer PVC jacket and UV resistance make it suitable for indoor and outdoor routing, and the cord is rated for direct burial applications where a robust jacket and proper installation are required. Expect backward compatibility with Cat5 and Cat6 gear, and easier setup when you want a single cable that covers future upgrades. ⚙️

## Tech specs

- Name: **Dacrown Cat 8 Ethernet Cable 50 ft**
- Type: Shielded SFTP RJ45 network cable
- Length: 50 ft
- Compatibility: Backward compatible with Cat5 Cat5e Cat6 Cat6a Cat7
- What’s included: One shielded Cat8 Ethernet cable

## Who it’s for

You’ll appreciate it if you need a sturdy cable for short high bandwidth links in home labs, small offices, or data center patch runs. The shielded construction helps in environments with electrical noise and crowded cable trays. It makes sense if you want a cable that handles higher speeds today and remains compatible with older hardware. It might not be a great match if you need ultra-flexible or very thin patch cords for tight office desk runs, or if you require lengths longer than 50 feet without adding couplers.

## Care & maintenance

Handle connectors gently and avoid sharp bends near the RJ45 ends to keep the gold plating and contacts clean. For outdoor runs bury at recommended depth and use conduit where possible, and inspect for wear periodically to maintain signal integrity.
