For bedside use, select a height that aligns with your bed and secure the wheels before settling the bassinet in place. The aluminum frame keeps the setup portable at 20.9 pounds, and its lockable 360-degree swivel wheels make it easier to reposition around a bedroom or living room.

Best use cases

This design suits families who want one baby sleep space that can serve several roles. Use it as a bedside sleeper for nighttime access, then move it as a standalone bassinet during the day. Rocking mode offers a different way to soothe, while playpen mode gives the setup another function as your routine changes. Rather than choosing between a fixed bedside crib and a separate portable bassinet, this model combines those uses with rocking and playpen modes.

The five height settings help adapt the bedside setup to different bed heights. A large basket beneath the bassinet keeps everyday baby items close at hand, such as diapers and wipes, without taking up another spot in the room. Before use, lock the wheels and follow the 22-pound maximum weight recommendation. The removable washable covers also make routine care more manageable when the sleep area needs freshening.

Everyday use

In a bedroom, the bassinet can sit beside the bed for convenient access, with mesh sides helping parents see the baby from nearby. When moving to another room, the swivel wheels make repositioning straightforward, lock them once the bassinet is where it belongs. The basket below provides a dedicated place for essentials, and the included mosquito net offers a cover option when setting up the sleep space.

Buyers often praise the bassinet’s appearance, rocking function, and under-bed storage. Some also mention the mosquito net and the ability to adjust the tilt. Opinions on size are mixed, with some finding it larger than expected, so the stated 36 x 22-inch footprint can help you plan where to place it. These comments reflect individual preferences, the product’s practical draw is its combination of bedside access, mobility, and multiple setup modes.

Final verdict

The cutebeams HB608-1 brings bedside sleeping, standalone use, rocking, and playpen functionality together in one adjustable setup. Its mesh sides, lockable swivel wheels, storage basket, mattress, and mosquito net support a flexible bedroom-to-living-room routine. It’s a great fit if you want a multi-mode bassinet with five height settings and convenient bedside access.
