## Description

## Tech summary
Each mat measures 12 in x 12 in and is made of plastic. This eight-mat variety pack gives you three adhesive strengths for different materials. Need a mat for lightweight paper and another for backed fabric? Choose the grip level that suits the project and secure the material during cutting.

- Type: Cricut cutting machine mats
- Size: 12 in x 12 in
- Quantity: 8 mats
- Grip levels: 4 StandardGrip, 2 LightGrip, 2 StrongGrip
- Compatibility: Cricut Explore and Cricut Maker machines

LightGrip is intended for lightweight materials such as vinyl, paper, and light cardstock. StandardGrip is suited to medium-weight materials, including iron-on, heavy cardstock, and patterned paper. For heavier materials like chipboard, mat board, and backed fabric, StrongGrip provides the corresponding grip option. Using the mat strength matched to the material helps hold it in place while the machine cuts.

## Practical tips
Select the mat according to the material you plan to cut, then place the material on its surface so it stays in position during the cutting process. The mats are designed for repeated use, and their flexible construction is made to withstand pulling and peeling without cracking. Once a project is complete, peel the material away from the mat, the product description notes that it lifts away without damaging the project.

Store each mat with its clear cover in place to help keep dust off the adhesive between projects. This is especially useful if you switch between paper crafts, iron-on designs, and heavier materials: the range of grip levels lets you choose a suitable surface rather than relying on one mat strength for every job. The mats are designed for Cricut cutting machines, and this 12-inch format is compatible with Explore and Maker models.

Buyers appreciate having several grip options available for different projects, and some describe the mats as useful across a range of crafting tasks. Feedback on adhesion and durability is mixed: some report that the mats hold up through repeated use, while others say the grip can lessen over time. Choosing the grip strength for the material and replacing the clear cover after use are practical ways to care for the mats.

## Box contents
The pack contains eight reusable Cricut machine mats: four StandardGrip, two LightGrip, and two StrongGrip mats. That assortment covers lightweight, medium-weight, and heavier materials, so a crafter can keep different mat strengths on hand for projects such as paper work, iron-on designs, chipboard pieces, or backed-fabric cuts.

## Is it worth it?
For Cricut Explore and Maker owners who work with more than one material type, this pack offers a ready selection of mat strengths in one 12 x 12 in format. Compared with choosing a single grip strength for every project, the variety lets you match the mat to lightweight paper, medium-weight cardstock or iron-on, and heavier materials such as chipboard. It’s a great fit if you want multiple options available for changing craft projects and prefer mats designed for your Cricut machine.
