Cosy Family Mattress Bag, Full

A basic cover can keep dust off a mattress in storage. For a move, carrying it through a hallway or loading it into a vehicle, handles and a zipper may matter just as much.

This Cosy Family mattress bag is listed for a Full mattress and comes as a two-pack. Its blue, opaque cover is made from 170GSM polyethylene tarp.

It’s intended for moving and storage, with water resistance rather than a stated waterproof rating. The listing doesn’t provide the bag’s dimensions, so fit deserves a closer look before you rely on it for a thicker mattress.

Quick sizing guide

The product is labeled Full, which gives you a useful starting point, but it doesn’t tell you the bag’s exact length, width, or depth. If your mattress has a tall profile or a pillow-top design, compare its measurements with the seller’s listing before buying, a size label alone can’t confirm that it will slide in easily or leave enough room for the zipper.

Picture carrying a mattress around a tight stairwell turn: the eight handles give you several places to grip as you tilt and reposition the covered mattress. From the way it is set up, the bag is meant to make maneuvering easier, though handles won’t remove the awkwardness of moving a bulky mattress by yourself. The zipper also helps keep the mattress enclosed while you carry or store it.

Pros

• Eight handles offer multiple grip points for moving through doorways and hallways.
• The 170GSM polyethylene tarp is described as resistant to rips, water, and dust.
• The opaque blue material conceals the mattress, and the cover is described as reusable.
• The pack includes two bags, and the listing says they can also protect box springs and other furniture.

The main distinction from a simple, disposable dust cover is the combination of carrying handles, zipper closure, and a reusable tarp material. That setup makes more sense when a mattress needs to be moved or stored, rather than just covered briefly in a clean room. Still, water-resistant doesn’t mean waterproof, so don’t treat this as a guarantee against standing water or a wet storage area.

Buying verdict

Worth considering if you’re packing a Full mattress for a move, renovation, or storage and want a cover you can carry and reuse. The handles may be especially helpful when you need to shift the mattress through a narrow hallway, while the opaque tarp keeps it out of view and helps guard against dust and light moisture.

Better avoided if you need a confirmed fit for an unusually deep mattress, exact bag measurements, or waterproof protection. Those details aren’t established in the listing. For a short-term dust cover, a simpler sleeve may be enough, this bag’s extra carrying features are more useful when the mattress itself has to travel. The two-pack also makes sense if you have another mattress or a box spring to cover, but the listing doesn’t specify separate sizing for those items.
