Cosy Family Full XL Mattress Bag, 170GSM, 8 Handles and Zipper

Getting the most from it

When a Full XL mattress needs to pass through a hallway or go into storage during a move, a cover can help keep dust and moisture off its surface. This Cosy Family bag is designed for carrying and storage, with eight handles for gripping and a zipper closure. If your priority is covering a mattress for a short move, its handles and reusable construction are practical details, for longer-term storage, the water-resistant material adds another layer of protection. It’s a different approach from a disposable, loose cover: this one is made to be reused and can also cover a box spring or other furniture.

The bag is made from 170GSM polyethylene tarpaulin and has an opaque blue finish. The listing identifies the size as Full XL, but doesn’t provide exact bag dimensions, so that size label is the available reference when matching it to a mattress. Plan how you’ll lift and guide the mattress before moving it, handles provide places to grip, but they don’t replace careful handling, especially through tight turns or stairs.

Strengths

The combination of a zipper and multiple handles makes this more purpose-built for carrying than a simple sheet or open-ended cover. The handles give movers several grip points, while the opaque material keeps the mattress out of view. Its water resistance is intended to help protect against moisture, and the cover is also described as a barrier against dust. That makes it useful when a mattress is being moved between rooms or kept in a shed, attic, or basement, where exposure may be a concern.

Buyer feedback highlights the bag’s durability, portability, handles, and usefulness against dust and moisture. Some buyers also describe it as roomy, but those comments don’t replace the listed Full XL size or provide exact dimensions for this variant. You’ll appreciate it if you want a reusable cover with carrying handles rather than a basic protector used only for covering. It may not suit you if you need a stated exact fit measurement or a guarantee of waterproof protection: the provided details describe the tarp as water-resistant, not waterproof.

Practical questions

Does the bag have a zipper? Yes. The product description specifies a zipper closure, which encloses the mattress rather than leaving it in an open-ended cover.

Can it cover more than a mattress? The description also lists box springs and other furniture as possible uses. It doesn’t give dimensions for those items, so check their size against the Full XL designation before relying on a fit.

Is it intended for storage as well as moving? Yes. The product is presented for both uses, including storage in places such as attics, sheds, and basements. Its material is described as water-resistant, which shouldn’t be read as a waterproof rating.

Final verdict

Choose this bag if you need a reusable Full XL mattress cover with a zipper, eight handles, and water-resistant polyethylene tarp for moving or storage. It offers more carrying features than a basic cover and can serve for a box spring or other furniture when the dimensions work. If an exact fit is essential, the missing bag measurements are worth bearing in mind before choosing this size.
