## Description

Some work calls need one ear available to hear what is happening nearby, other listening situations call for stereo sound. The COSMUSIS 654AS is designed for both, with a switch between single-ear and dual-ear operation, a microphone, and active noise cancellation. Its stated 50-hour music playback time also makes it worth considering for people who want fewer charging interruptions during regular use.

It connects wirelessly over Bluetooth and includes a USB Type-C charging cable. The detachable earpad and adjustable headband add flexibility to the setup.

## Key points

The headset’s single-ear mode is intended to leave one ear open to surrounding sound, while dual-ear mode supports stereo listening. That makes the mode switch relevant for work calls and general listening, rather than just a cosmetic feature. It does not, by itself, guarantee awareness of every sound or make headset use appropriate in every driving situation.

COSMUSIS lists up to 50 hours of continuous music playback and 200 hours of standby time. These are separate figures: the listing does not give a call-time battery estimate. A one-touch mute button is available for quickly silencing the microphone during a meeting or call. Bluetooth 5 connectivity is listed with a 50-foot range, and there is no headphone jack.

The product is described as having active noise cancellation, while its call-focused description also refers to reducing background noise for conversations. Buyers highlight clear sound and comfortable ear cushions, but feedback on Bluetooth reliability and durability is mixed. Some report straightforward pairing, others mention call disconnections. Durability comments also vary, including reports of the top cushion coming apart. Those impressions are useful context, not a guarantee of how an individual unit will perform.

## Usage tips

Choose single-ear operation when keeping one ear available is useful, and dual-ear operation when stereo playback is the priority. For work calls, the mute button offers a direct way to pause microphone pickup without ending the call. The headset is listed for use with cell phones, computers, tablets, telephones, and other Bluetooth-compatible devices, so check that your intended device supports Bluetooth before choosing it.

The package details list ear cushions, a USB Type-C charging cable, and a user manual. The headset is not water resistant, so it is intended for dry settings rather than use where exposure to water is expected.

## Tips for day-to-day use

For a work-from-home routine, the headset can serve for calls on a laptop and then switch to music listening without relying on a wired headphone connection. Its stated Bluetooth range may allow some movement away from a paired device, although walls, interference, and the connected device can affect real-world performance, the listed range is not a promise of uninterrupted connection in every room.

Buyers often praise comfort, sound clarity, and battery life. Some say the ear cushions feel comfortable over longer listening periods, while others describe connection interruptions or early wear. If durability is a key buying factor, those differing reports are worth weighing alongside the 12-month warranty listed in the product details. A solid pick if you want a wireless work headset with a mute control and both single- and dual-ear modes. It might not be a great match if you need a wired connection or water resistance, neither is listed for this model.

## What to clarify

Does it connect with a wired cable? No headphone jack is listed. The included USB Type-C cable is described as a charging cable, not an audio cable.

Is the 50-hour figure for calls? No. The listing specifies 50 hours of continuous music time and 200 hours of standby time, without a separate call-time estimate.

Can it be used with a laptop? Bluetooth connectivity is listed, and laptops are among the compatible device types. The laptop needs Bluetooth support for a wireless connection.

## Is it worth it?

This headset is worth considering when the combination of Bluetooth, a microphone, one-touch mute, and selectable single- or dual-ear listening fits your work routine. Its stated music playback time and included charging cable add practical context, while the reported comfort and clear audio are encouraging buyer impressions. The trade-offs are specific: there is no headphone jack, it is not water resistant, and buyer feedback is mixed on connection stability and durability. Choose it for its wireless, call-oriented controls and listening modes, not on the assumption that every connection or long-term wear experience will be the same.
