COOLOMG Youth Compression Shorts with Athletic Cup

When regular athletic underwear leaves you looking for a separate way to add groin protection, these youth compression shorts bundle the shorts and cup together. The stretch, moisture-wicking fabric is designed to move with the body, while a wide elastic waistband helps keep the shorts in place during play.

The included cup has a contoured shape, six airflow ports, and a soft gel perimeter. From the way it is set up, the appeal is having the cup held within the compression shorts rather than choosing two separate pieces of gear.

Where it shines

This setup is aimed at young athletes playing baseball, football, lacrosse, hockey, or MMA. Instead of pulling on ordinary compression shorts and then sorting out a separate cup, a player can wear one garment designed to accommodate both. Picture getting ready for practice: the shorts go on like athletic underwear, and the cup sits in its shaped pocket while the waistband helps hold everything in place.

The cup’s vents are intended to allow airflow, and its soft gel edge adds a comfort-minded detail where the cup meets the body. The shorts’ moisture-wicking stretch fabric and ergonomic design are also intended to make active movement more comfortable. Those features can make the set worth considering for practices or games where cup protection is part of the gear routine, though the fit still matters more than the feature list.

Key points

The package includes one pair of shorts and one cup. The cup is described as lightweight, vented, and contoured for a natural fit, the shorts use stretch fabric and a wide elastic waistband. Together, those details make this a more integrated choice than buying basic compression underwear and handling protective gear separately. If you prioritize having the cup and shorts in one setup, this is the more straightforward approach, if you prefer to choose each layer independently, separate shorts and a cup give you more control over that combination.

It’s a great fit if you want youth athletic underwear that includes a cup for one of the listed sports. It may not suit you if you need specific sizing or fit measurements before buying: none are given in the product details here, and a cup that shifts or feels uncomfortable can undermine the point of wearing it. The description also doesn’t specify a particular compression level, so don’t choose it expecting a quantified level of support.

Cleaning & care

The shorts can be machine washed, but the cup should be hand washed. That means care is not quite a one-step laundry job: remove the cup before washing the shorts, then clean the cup separately by hand. Keeping the two care instructions distinct is useful if the set will be in a regular practice rotation. The product details don’t state drying instructions, so avoid assuming a specific drying method for either piece.

When it makes sense

Choose this set if the young player needs compression shorts with an included cup and would rather keep those parts together for baseball, football, lacrosse, hockey, or MMA. The airflow ports and soft gel perimeter are practical comfort details, while the stretch fabric and wide waistband address movement and staying put. If the priority is a known size range, detailed fit measurements, or care instructions for drying, those details aren’t provided here, you may want a product listing that spells them out before deciding. For a simple, combined shorts-and-cup setup, though, the main question is whether the youth fit is right for the athlete.
