COOLOMG Men's Compression Shorts with Cup

A dedicated cup pocket with two retaining straps helps keep the protective cup in place during movement, while the compression shorts provide a flexible base layer for contact sports. The cup has a bendable soft-rubber edge and a six-hole design for ventilation, the shorts use four-way stretch fabric to allow movement without feeling restrictive. Together, the setup is aimed at players who want groin protection built into their athletic underwear rather than adding a separate layer.

Picture pulling on the shorts before a game, sliding the cup into its pocket, then taking it out again before washing. That removable design is practical, but the care routine differs between the two pieces.

Best use cases

These men's compression shorts are intended for baseball, football, lacrosse, hockey, MMA, and other contact sports. They can also be worn as regular tight athletic shorts if you prefer not to use the cup. The moisture-wicking polyester-and-spandex fabric, flat-lock seams, and wide elastic waistband are geared toward wearing them during active sessions, where a close fit and room to move matter.

They make more sense for someone seeking a combined shorts-and-cup setup than for someone who only needs a basic compression layer. The cup is removable, so you can leave it out when protection is not part of the activity. Still, a built-in pocket and straps are useful only if the shorts fit securely and the cup sits comfortably for your body.

Product specs

The set includes one pair of shorts and one protective cup. The shorts are made from 85% polyester and 15% spandex, with four-way stretch, flat-lock seams, and a wide waistband. The cup is described as impact-resistant, with a flexible rubber edge and six ventilation holes. Two straps inside the cup pocket are intended to hold it in place.

The shorts are machine washable, the cup should be hand washed. The supplied details do not include a size chart or measurements, so fit is harder to judge without that measurement. Check the available sizing information before choosing, especially if you need a snug fit to keep the cup positioned correctly. The care instructions also mean the cup needs to be removed rather than washed with the shorts.

Where it shines

The main practical advantage is that the protective cup and compression layer are designed to work together. Instead of putting on separate underwear and trying to position a standalone cup, you place it in the pocket and use the straps to secure it. The breathable fabric and ventilation holes are intended to help manage heat and sweat, while the stretch construction supports running, changing direction, and other active movement.

That combination is most relevant for contact-sport routines where protection is part of getting dressed. Compared with plain compression shorts, this set includes the cup and a dedicated way to hold it. Compared with choosing protective gear separately, it offers a more integrated setup, though it leaves fewer details available for judging fit in advance. It’s a great fit if you want one garment that accommodates a removable cup for practices or games. Better avoided if you need specific sizing measurements before buying or want shorts that require no separate hand-washing step.

When it makes sense

Choose these when you want compression shorts with a removable cup pocket for sports such as football, baseball, lacrosse, hockey, or MMA, and the available sizing works for you. The reflective circular logo is a design detail, not a reason to choose them over a better-fitting alternative. If your priority is simply a stretch base layer, regular compression shorts avoid the cup-care routine. If you do need groin protection, this set offers a ready-made place for the included cup, but comfort and positioning still depend on getting the fit right. The details provided do not establish a size range or cup dimensions, so those are worth confirming before settling on this option.
