COOLOMG Men's Compression Shorts with Cup

For baseball, football, lacrosse, hockey, or MMA players who want a protective cup held in place by their compression shorts, this COOLOMG set combines both pieces. The shorts use a stretch fabric with a dedicated cup pocket, so you can put on the gear as one garment rather than arranging separate underwear and a cup.

You’ll appreciate it if you want a close-fitting layer for practice or contact play. If you prioritize an all-in-one setup, this design makes sense, if you prefer choosing your shorts and protective gear separately, a standalone cup and your usual base layer offer more flexibility.

Where it shines

The main draw is the way the cup is integrated into the shorts. A pocket and two retaining straps are intended to keep it in position, while the cup has a flexible rubber edge and a six-hole design for ventilation. Its body is described as impact-resistant, but the product details don’t establish a protection rating or compare its performance with other cups. Treat those features as design information, not a substitute for checking whether the fit and coverage suit your sport.

The shorts are made from 85% polyester and 15% spandex, with four-way stretch and flat-lock seams. The stated goal is a breathable, moisture-wicking fit that allows movement without the seams adding unnecessary bulk. Picture pulling them on under your uniform before practice, with the cup already secured in its pocket. The wide elastic waistband is designed to help keep the shorts in place. A reflective circular logo is also included, though it’s a styling detail rather than a reason to choose the set.

Quick overview

This is a one-short, one-cup package, not just compression underwear. The cup can be removed from its pocket, and the shorts can also be worn without it if you want a close-fitting pair without the protective insert. That flexibility is useful for players who may use the shorts in different training situations, though it doesn’t tell you how compressive the fit will feel on your body.

On the spec sheet, the combination of stretch fabric, a wide waistband, and cup-retaining straps points to a practical setup for team sports and other contact activities. The listing details here don’t include a size chart, so anyone between sizes or particular about compression should check the available fit information before choosing. Better avoided if you need a clearly documented protection rating or exact fit measurements to make your decision.

Cleaning & care

The care instructions distinguish between the two pieces: the shorts are machine washable, while the cup should be hand-washed. Before laundry, remove the cup from the pocket, the design is made for it to come out, and keeping the pieces separate follows the stated care guidance. That extra step is worth factoring in if you want a single garment you can toss into the wash without sorting its components.

Buying verdict

This COOLOMG set is worth considering when you want compression shorts and a removable cup together for baseball, football, lacrosse, hockey, MMA, or similar contact sports. Its practical appeal is the built-in pocket and straps, plus the option to wear the shorts without the cup. Choose it if that integrated arrangement suits your routine and the fit information matches your needs. Skip it if you need verified protection standards or don’t want to hand-wash the cup after use.
