COOLOMG Men's Compression Shorts with Cup

What matters most

The included protective cup sits in a dedicated pocket with two straps to help hold it in place, giving these COOLOMG compression shorts a more sport-specific purpose than ordinary tight shorts. The cup has an impact-resistant body, a flexible soft-rubber edge, and six ventilation holes, the shorts use a four-way-stretch blend of 85% polyester and 15% spandex.

Flat-lock seams, moisture-wicking fabric, and a wide elastic waistband are intended to make the setup easier to wear through active movement. The cup can also be removed, so you can wear the shorts without it if that suits the session better.

Care tips

The shorts are machine washable, but the cup should be hand washed. Remove it from the pocket before laundering the shorts, then return it once both pieces are ready to use. Keep in mind that the cup requires separate care, so this is not a one-step wash-and-go setup. The product description does not provide sizing details, so use the available size information before choosing a fit.

Practical tips

For a baseball or field hockey practice, the pocket and straps are meant to keep the cup positioned while the stretch fabric moves with your legs. The ventilation holes may help reduce stuffiness during sweaty activity, though they do not make the gear maintenance-free. From the way it is set up, this is a built-in shorts-and-cup solution rather than compression wear you pair with a separate protective cup.

A solid pick if you want one garment for compression and groin protection in sports such as football, lacrosse, hockey, or MMA. Not the best choice if you need a specific fit or protection level confirmed in detail: those specifications are not included here. The reflective logo is a styling detail, not a substitute for checking that the cup feels secure and comfortable before play.

Before you decide

Does it include the protective cup? Yes. The listed contents are one pair of shorts and one cup.

Can you wash the shorts and cup together? No care instructions say to wash them together: the shorts are machine washable, while the cup is hand washed. Remove the cup before washing the shorts.

Can you wear the shorts without the cup? The description says the cup can be removed and the tight shorts can be worn on their own. That may suit workouts where you want compression but do not need the cup.

Is it worth it?

These shorts make the most sense if you want compression wear with a cup pocket and included protection in one purchase, rather than basic compression shorts that require a separate setup. The flexible cup edge, ventilation holes, and retaining straps address comfort and positioning, while the removable cup adds some day-to-day flexibility. The tradeoff is a separate hand-wash step and limited fit information in the product details. If those points work for your routine, they offer a practical starting point for contact-sport use, if precise sizing or more detailed protection specifications are essential, look for a listing that spells them out.
