## Description

This large gel cold pack provides flexible relief for major aches and swelling, designed to cover areas like the hip, shoulder, knee and back. It comes in a reusable gel format that stays pliable when frozen and can also be heated for moist warmth, helping reduce inflammation and ease soreness during recovery or everyday use.

## Key Points

The pack is filled with a proprietary gel intended to maintain temperature longer than standard competitors, according to the manufacturer. It weighs approximately 2.60 pounds and measures 11 by 14.5 inches, so it covers broad body areas and offers extended contact for compression therapy. The exterior is non-abrasive and the construction is reinforced to resist leaks and tears. For safe application, place a thin cloth between skin and gel to avoid ice burns.

## Technical Specifications

- Name: **Gel Soft Flexible Ice Pack (Large 11"x14.5")**
- Weight: 2.60 pounds
- Size: 11 x 14.5 inches
- Reusable: Yes
- Fill: Proprietary gel
- Usage: Hot and cold therapy

## Benefits

Because the gel stays flexible even when frozen, the pack conforms to curves like hips and knees to deliver consistent contact and targeted cold. It can be heated in a microwave for soothing heat or chilled in a freezer for cold compression, giving options for different stages of treatment. The sectional internal design promotes even gel distribution, which helps avoid cold or hot spots during use.

## Usage Recommendations

Use as a cold compress after activity to help reduce swelling and bruising or apply warm for stiffness and muscle relaxation. Always wrap the gel pack in a thin towel or cloth before placing it against the skin, and limit sessions to the typical 15 to 20 minutes intervals unless otherwise advised by a healthcare professional. Consider that due to its larger size and weight the pack may feel bulkier than smaller models, which can affect comfort during mobility.
