## Description

## How to use it
At 17.5" L × 13.7" W × 2.8" H, this gray seat cushion adds a supportive layer to a chair, car seat, or other seating surface. Place it on a flat, firm seat with the U-shaped cutout at the back, toward the tailbone. The non-slip rubber base helps keep it positioned during desk work, commuting, or a long drive. Its built-in handle makes it easier to carry between seats.

The medium-firm cushion combines memory foam with a cooling gel layer. Use it at an office desk, in a car or truck, or in a wheelchair when you want a more structured sitting surface. Compared with a plush pad designed mainly for softness, this cushion’s shaped cutout and firmer feel are aimed at supporting the tailbone area while seated.

## Benefits
The U-shaped design leaves space beneath the tailbone, while the gel-enhanced memory foam helps distribute pressure across the sitting surface. That combination can make extended periods of sitting more comfortable, whether you are working at a desk, studying, gaming, or traveling. The cushion is portable, so it can move between a home office and a vehicle instead of staying tied to one chair.

A removable, zippered velour cover makes routine care practical. The cover can be machine washed on a gentle cycle in cold water and tumble dried on low or air-dried flat. Keep the gel-enhanced foam core out of the washer and dryer. The base is made to grip the seat, and the breathable, cooling features add comfort for everyday use.

Buyers often praise the cushion’s comfort, support, and help with pressure around the lower back and tailbone. Opinions on firmness are mixed: some appreciate the medium-firm feel, while others find it too firm. This makes the cushion a more structured choice than a soft, fluffy seat pad.

## What matters most
The defining details are its gel layer, medium-firm memory foam, U-shaped coccyx cutout, and non-slip rubber base. Together, they suit people who want a portable cushion with a shaped support surface for a work chair, car seat, wheelchair, or travel seat. The 17.5-by-13.7-inch footprint and 2.8-inch height are useful to consider when choosing a spot for it, on a soft seat or a deep bucket-style seat, its added height may change how you sit.

For care, unzip and wash the cover separately, following the gentle-cycle instructions. For ongoing discomfort, consult a healthcare professional, the cushion is not a medical device and does not cure medical conditions. You’ll appreciate it if you want a washable-cover seat cushion that can travel from your desk to your car and offers a shaped alternative to a flat pad.

## Questions before you buy
How should the cushion be positioned? Set it on the seat with the U-shaped opening at the back, toward your tailbone. The rubber base helps it stay in place.

Can the cushion be machine washed? The removable cover can be machine washed on a gentle cycle with cold water, then tumble dried on low or air-dried flat. Do not wash or dry the foam core.

Where can it be used? It is suited to office and desk chairs, car and truck seats, wheelchairs, gaming chairs, and travel seating, including airplanes.

## Buying verdict
For desk work, driving, or travel, the ComfiLife cushion brings together portable use, a grippy base, a washable cover, and a tailbone cutout in one medium-firm design. Choose it when you want structured support across more than one seat, rather than a simple plush pad.
