## Description

This expansion brings new horrors and playable characters to the chaotic ritual-busting of Death May Die, expanding scenarios and threats for group sessions around the table. The Death May Die Season 2 expansion from CMON adds fresh mysteries and challenges for cooperative play, making longer campaigns and replayable encounters more varied and unpredictable.

## Key Points

Season 2 increases scenario variety with additional enemy types and event cards that change how each mystery unfolds. Players can expect new boss behaviors and environmental effects that make tactical choices more meaningful during the ritual phases. The expansion supports 1 to 5 players and keeps the base game's cooperative tension while introducing fresh twists that alter pacing and risk.

This set introduces new playable investigators and monstrous summons that modify party composition and strategy. Character options include different skill mixes that can shift the team's approach from brute force to more subtle control and resource management. For groups that enjoy evolving tableaus and emergent storytelling, these additions broaden strategic depth and narrative possibilities. 🎲👹

## Usage Recommendations

Open sessions that run 90 to 120 minutes will fit well with the added content, since expanded scenarios often extend playtime slightly. For tighter sessions, consider running truncated encounters or limiting the ritual rounds. When mixing Season 2 content with the base game, shuffle new cards gradually so players adapt to one new element at a time. Also consider pre-selecting investigators to maintain game balance for groups that vary widely in experience.

If you are introducing new players, start with a single new enemy or event card to avoid overwhelming them. For veteran groups, combine multiple Season 2 modules in a single campaign for unpredictable interactions. Note that some components require careful sorting and table space, so plan setup time accordingly.
