## Description

A three-layer design combines cotton and activated carbon to help filter hair, particles, and heavy metals from fountain water. This Cirfifth replacement set pairs eight filters with eight pre-filter sponges. It is made for specified stainless steel cat fountains, so compatibility is the first thing to check. The maker recommends rinsing each filter before use and replacing it every two to four weeks.

## Best use cases

This set is intended for owners of compatible stainless steel cat fountains who want replacement filters and pre-filter sponges together. The listed fit is for 67 Oz/2L and 102 Oz/3.2L fountains. In a regular care routine, the filters can be soaked for two minutes, rinsed thoroughly under running water, and installed according to the fountain’s instructions. The suggested replacement interval is every two to four weeks, so the pack provides several changes rather than a single refill.

It suits you if you already use one of the listed fountain sizes and want both filter pieces on hand. If your fountain is a different style or capacity, the stated compatibility does not establish that these will fit, a replacement made for that exact fountain may be a better choice.

## Where it shines

The practical appeal is the combination of a cotton layer and activated carbon in a three-layer filter, alongside separate pre-filter sponges. The product is intended to catch hair and particles and help improve water taste. That makes it a more complete replacement approach than buying filters alone, provided your fountain matches the stated compatibility.

Buyer feedback is generally positive about fit, ease of replacement, and keeping fountain water clean. Some buyers also describe the filters as easy to maintain. Durability feedback is mixed, however: some find they hold up, while others report that they do not last as long as expected. Those comments are useful context, but they do not establish how long an individual filter will perform in your fountain.

## Questions before you buy

**Do these fit every cat fountain?** The stated compatibility is limited to 67 Oz/2L and 102 Oz/3.2L stainless steel cat fountains. The listing does not confirm fit for other models or fountain types.

**What comes in the set?** It includes eight filters and eight pre-filter sponges, giving you both replacement parts for routine maintenance.

**How should a filter be prepared?** Soak it in water for two minutes, then rinse it thoroughly under running water before use. The recommended replacement interval is every two to four weeks.

## Final verdict

This Cirfifth set makes sense when your fountain matches the listed size and stainless steel type, and you want filters and pre-filter sponges in one purchase. The buyer feedback on fit and ease of replacement is encouraging, but reports about durability are not uniform. Better avoided if compatibility is uncertain or your fountain falls outside the listed sizes, in that case, a clearly matched replacement set is the safer purchase decision.
