CIERVO SPORTS Football Receiver Gloves

For football players who want extra grip while catching, these CIERVO SPORTS receiver gloves are described as a fit for both adult and youth players. Their silicone grip, breathable fabric, and adjustable wrist straps focus on control and a secure feel rather than adding a long list of features.

The same pair is also presented for flag football and ultimate frisbee, so it may suit players who move between those activities. Sizing details are not provided, though, which makes it harder to judge the fit before buying.

What matters most

The main draw is the non-slip silicone grip on the palm. For a receiver reaching for a pass, that added tackiness is intended to help maintain control once the ball meets the hand. It’s a more grip-focused approach than a basic glove without a tacky surface, especially for practice or play where catching is the priority.

The close, ergonomic fit is meant to keep the gloves from feeling loose, while hook-and-loop wrist straps let you secure them around the wrist. Breathable fabric is included to encourage airflow during active play. These are useful details for a quick sequence of routes and catches, when stopping to adjust a slipping glove would be distracting.

Keep in mind that the listing gives no measurements or size chart. The adult-and-youth wording alone doesn’t tell you which size will fit a particular hand, without that measurement, the fit is harder to assess. A solid pick if grip and an adjustable wrist closure matter more than having detailed sizing information. It might not be a great match if you need a clearly specified fit before choosing.

How to use it

Pull each glove on snugly, then fasten the wrist strap so it feels secure without getting in the way of hand movement. During a football practice, for example, the silicone surface is intended to help as you extend your hands for a pass, while the breathable fabric is there for active play. The gloves are also described for flag football and ultimate frisbee, but the product details don’t specify care instructions or how to clean them, so avoid assuming a particular wash method.

Practical tips

Think about what you want to improve first: grip, wrist security, or a more certain fit. These gloves speak most directly to the first two. If you’re choosing between them and a simpler pair, the silicone surface and adjustable closure are the distinguishing features to weigh, if fit is your main concern, the missing size guidance is a real drawback. The listing also describes the construction as durable, but doesn’t provide a material breakdown or a lifespan, so that claim isn’t specific enough to predict how they’ll hold up for your schedule.

Practical doubts

Do they have a tacky grip?

Yes. The product description identifies non-slip silicone grip technology intended to help with ball control.

Can you adjust the wrist fit?

Yes. Hook-and-loop wrist straps are described as a way to secure the gloves in place.

Are they only for football?

No. The listing also names flag football and ultimate frisbee as intended uses, though football receiving is the main focus.

Final verdict

These gloves make the most sense for a player looking for silicone grip, breathable fabric, and a wrist strap in one receiver-focused design. The listed uses give them some flexibility across football and frisbee activities. The trade-off is limited fit information: if you need a size chart to choose confidently, this listing doesn’t provide one. Choose them when grip and adjustability lead your checklist, look elsewhere if precise sizing details are essential.
