## Description

## Key points
At 15.7 inches tall, these three-step dog stairs give small dogs a way to reach a bed or couch using a sequence of steps. High-density rebound foam provides a cushioned structure, while the corduroy cover adds a soft surface. A non-slip mesh bottom helps keep the stairs in place on hardwood and carpet. Choose this format when you want a compact set of steps for pet access rather than a ramp-style surface.

The stairs measure 22.4 inches deep by 15.7 inches wide and 15.7 inches high, with a maximum recommended weight of 25 pounds. Their intended fit is small dog breeds. The concealed zipper keeps the cover closure out of the way, and the bottom’s grip-focused fabric supports everyday placement on common floor surfaces.

Buyers often describe the stairs as soft and say their small dogs, including older dogs, use them with ease. Feedback on size and cover installation is mixed, so it’s helpful to compare the listed dimensions with the furniture and space where you plan to place them.

## Cleaning & care
The gray cover is removable and machine washable, making it easier to refresh the surface after regular use. Zip it back onto the foam securely after cleaning. The concealed zipper also keeps the closure tucked away during use.

After unpacking, allow the compressed foam 24–48 hours to rebound to its full shape before use. Set the stairs on a stable floor with the non-slip bottom in contact with the surface, then attach the cover. Giving the foam time to expand helps the steps take their intended shape before your pet starts using them.

## Best use cases
These stairs are designed for small dogs that need a route up to a bed or couch. The three-step layout is useful for pets that benefit from stepping up instead of making a direct jump, including puppies and older dogs. Their 15.7-inch height suits furniture in that general range, compare the stairs’ dimensions with your intended spot to see how the steps will meet the furniture.

For a home with hardwood or carpet, the mesh underside is intended to help limit movement across either surface. In a bedroom, position the stairs beside the bed, in a living room, place them next to a couch with enough floor space for the 22.4-inch depth. The foam construction and fabric cover make them a soft-sided alternative to rigid pet steps.

## What to clarify
**What is the maximum recommended weight?** The stairs are recommended for pets weighing up to 25 pounds, and the product is specified for small dog breeds.

**Can the cover be washed?** Yes. The gray cover is removable and machine washable. Reattach it securely using the zipper after cleaning.

**How long should the stairs expand before use?** Allow 24–48 hours after unpacking for the compressed foam to rebound to its full shape. Place the stairs on a stable surface with the non-slip bottom against the floor.

## When it makes sense
Choose the Chic Threads 3-steps when a small dog needs a soft, step-by-step way to reach a bed or couch, and a removable washable cover is useful for routine care. Its defined dimensions, non-slip mesh bottom, and rebound foam make it a practical fit for a stable spot beside everyday furniture.
