## Description

## What it is
The CHEREEKI wireless controller is a PlayStation 4 compatible gamepad designed to pair with PS4, PS4 Slim, and PS4 Pro. It aims to mirror the feel of the original while adding a couple of upgrades, such as two back macro buttons and a turbo function, all over a stable Bluetooth connection within an 8-meter range.

## Who this is for
If you want a PS4-style controller with extra customization options for shooters or action games, and you value a comfortable grip with non-slip surfaces, this model could be a practical alternative to the stock controller. It also targets players who appreciate a longer gaming session between charges, thanks to its claimed 8–10 hour battery life.

## How it feels in use
On the surface, the design emphasizes ergonomics and grip. The joysticks, triggers, and touch panel are described as highly responsive, which matters for timing-heavy games. A built-in six-axis sensor adds gyroscopic motion to your inputs, and the rear macro buttons provide additional mapping options without interrupting the core controls.

## What stands out at a glance
The two back macro buttons are the standout feature, offering potential for customizing sequences or rapid actions. The turbo function adds a continuous-fire option for shooters, which can improve consistency in certain game modes. The 3.5mm audio jack is a practical touch for players who want to mix in voice chat or use wired audio on the go.

## Limitations and cautions
On the flip side, the description doesn’t specify exact macro button programming methods or profiles, so you may want to verify how flexible the mapping is for your favorite games. Battery life is described as 8–10 hours, which is decent but not groundbreaking, extended sessions will still require occasional charging. Also, while compatibility covers PS4 family consoles, there’s no explicit mention of cross-generation features beyond Bluetooth stability.

## What to check before buying
Consider how important macro customization is for your play style and whether you’ll benefit from the turbo feature in your typical games. If you rely heavily on wireless stability, note the claimed 8-meter range, but test in your own setup to confirm latency and reliability.

## Practical usage example
Imagine a sprint-heavy shooter session: you map a few quick actions to the back macros, then switch to turbo for rapid-fire moments without finger fatigue. The six-axis motion might add a layer of precision in flight or driving segments, depending on the game. In routine platformers or adventure titles, the ergonomic grip helps extend long play sessions without hand cramping.

## How this compares to other approaches
If you’re weighing this against a standard PS4 controller, the key differentiators are the macro buttons and turbo mode. For players who don’t need extra programmability, a stock controller may suffice. If you want more customization and a budget-friendly option, this CHEREEKI model could be appealing, provided the macro setup matches your needs.

## Final verdict
Is it worth it? It depends on whether you value additional inputs and programmable options for back-button actions and turbo play. If those features align with your gaming style and you’re comfortable testing a third-party peripheral, this controller could offer noticeable day-to-day benefits. However, manage expectations about setup clarity and battery life against your typical play sessions.

## FAQ
- Does it work with all PS4 models equally? It’s described as compatible with PS4, PS4 Slim, and PS4 Pro, but real-world compatibility can vary by firmware and games.
- Are macro buttons easily programmable? The base description mentions two macro buttons but doesn’t detail the programming process—you may need to check the user manual for specifics.
- How long does the battery typically last in mixed usage? The stated range is 8–10 hours per charge, which should cover a few gaming sessions but isn’t unlimited.
