CheerTry Toddler Potty Chair with Detachable Seat

When a toddler resists potty practice, a plain seat may not make the routine feel inviting. The CheerTry toddler potty chair adds a flushing sound and familiar toilet details, while its removable soft seat can also be used on an adult toilet to support the transition. It is made for boys and girls ages 1–3, with a larger structure aimed at active or taller toddlers. The extra storage keeps wipes close by, though the product details do not give measurements to show how much bathroom space it needs.

What to know

This is a standalone potty chair with a removable inner bowl, a lid, and a detachable seat ring. The flushing sound is intended to make practice feel more like using a regular toilet, it is an engaging feature, not a substitute for a routine that works for your child. An anti-slip rubber base is included to help keep the chair steady on the bathroom floor.

The soft seat gives toddlers a more comfortable place to sit, and its detachable design adds another use: the seat ring can be used on an adult toilet. That can make the move away from a small potty feel less abrupt. A covered wet-wipe box and an extendable toilet-paper holder provide nearby storage for wipes or potty-training items. Keep in mind that “larger” is not paired with dimensions, so families with a tight bathroom or a particularly small toddler may want more size information before choosing it.

How to take care of it

The inner bowl lifts out for cleaning, which is useful after a messy attempt: remove the bowl, clean it separately, and return it to the chair. The removable seat ring also makes the setup easier to adapt as your child gets used to a regular toilet. The product description does not specify cleaning products or whether any parts are dishwasher-safe, so avoid assuming a particular cleaning method beyond the removable bowl.

Practical tips

Set the chair where your toddler can reach it easily, and keep wipes in the covered box so they are nearby when needed. The paper holder and flushing sound can help make the sequence feel familiar: sit, use the toilet paper, then flush. For a child who is nervous about new sounds, introduce the flushing feature at their pace rather than making it the focus of every attempt.

A solid pick if you want a more toilet-like potty with storage and a seat that can carry over to an adult toilet. Compared with a basic potty that prioritizes a compact, simple setup, this one offers more built-in features, the tradeoff is that its larger design may be less convenient where floor space is limited. You may want to skip it if you need confirmed dimensions or want a potty with no sound or extra parts.

Before you decide

Does it work for boys and girls? The product is described as suitable for both, for ages 1–3.

Can the seat be used on an adult toilet? Yes. The seat ring detaches for that purpose, though specific toilet-fit details are not provided.

Is the bowl removable for cleaning? Yes. The inner bowl lifts out, the listing does not state whether it is dishwasher-safe.

Final verdict

Choose the CheerTry if the sound, wipe storage, and detachable seat match the way you plan to handle potty training—and if a larger chair suits your bathroom. Its clearest advantage over a basic potty is the combination of familiar toilet features and a seat intended to help with the next step. If compact dimensions or detailed cleaning guidance are essential, the available information leaves those questions open.
