Chapin Replacement Sprayer Straps, Padded

A backpack sprayer is harder to carry when its straps are worn, missing, or no longer adjust properly. These padded Chapin replacement straps are designed to restore the shoulder straps on compatible Chapin sprayers.

The set includes both the left and right straps, so you can replace the pair rather than search for a single side.

They connect and adjust easily, according to the product details. The main decision is whether your sprayer is one of the listed models.

Technical details

This is a replacement strap set for a Chapin backpack sprayer, not a complete sprayer or a universal accessory. It includes left and right straps, and both are padded and adjustable. That makes the set relevant when existing straps are damaged, missing, or no longer comfortable to wear.

The details describe the straps as easy to connect and adjust, but do not specify their dimensions, materials, or a separate adjustment range. If you are comparing replacement parts, those omissions mean the model list is more useful than appearance alone. Match your sprayer by model number instead of assuming that similar-looking straps will fit.

Compatibility & requirements

The listed compatible models are 63985, 63980, 63924, 63800, 61800, 64800, and 61950. The product is intended for Chapin-branded equipment, the description warns that third-party parts may void the warranty and could cause functional problems. That makes a genuine replacement a more considered choice than an unverified generic strap, particularly if warranty coverage matters to you.

Before ordering, find the sprayer’s model number and compare it with the list. The product details do not provide compatibility with other models, so a close match in appearance is not enough to establish that these straps will connect correctly.

Usage tips

A practical time to replace straps is when you notice damage or cannot get the existing pair to adjust securely for carrying. Once the replacements are connected, adjust them before filling or moving the sprayer, so you can check the fit while the unit is easier to handle. The padding is intended to make the straps more suitable for shoulder carry, though the listing does not describe its thickness or cushioning level.

Keep the left and right straps together during installation, and follow the sprayer’s own instructions if you need guidance on attachment. A solid pick if your model is listed and you need a matching replacement pair. It might not be a great match if you have a different sprayer model or are looking for a full harness with additional components, only the two straps are included.

Before you decide

Are both straps included? Yes. The set includes the left and right replacement straps.

Which sprayers are listed as compatible? Models 63985, 63980, 63924, 63800, 61800, 64800, and 61950.

Are these universal straps? The listing names specific Chapin models rather than claiming universal fit. Use the model number to confirm compatibility before choosing them.

Buying verdict

Choose this set when you need padded replacement straps for one of the listed Chapin backpack sprayers and want both sides in the same purchase. Its appeal is straightforward: it replaces the straps, not the sprayer, and keeps the choice tied to named models. If your equipment is not on that list, or you need replacement parts beyond the left and right straps, the available details do not establish that this set will meet your needs.
