Changshade shade Cordless Blackout Cellular Shade, 33.5" x 64

Some rooms call for strong light control, while others need a clean window with no dangling cords. This Changshade cellular shade combines a cordless design with a honeycomb structure and a white blackout finish. Its 33.5" x 64" size is intended for indoor windows and doors, including French doors.

Pros

The manual, cordless control lets you raise or lower the shade and leave it at the position you choose. Without a hanging cord, the window has a tidier look, and the design helps create a safer environment for children and pets. A weighted, rigid aluminum bottom rail helps the shade hang flat.

The pleated cellular fabric has a 1.5-inch honeycomb structure with aluminum foil coating inside the cells. The shade is designed to block light for room darkening and greater privacy, which can be especially useful in a bedroom. The air pockets in the cells trap air to provide insulation, help block harsh sunlight and UV, and absorb noise. It’s a practical combination for spaces where sleep, privacy, and light control matter.

What matters most

This shade offers inside- or outside-mount installation, so you can choose the mounting approach that suits the window or door. Its white polyester fabric pairs a simple appearance with the blackout honeycomb construction. The specified size is 33.5" wide by 64" high, compare those dimensions with the intended opening and mounting arrangement when selecting a shade. Mounting hardware and a user manual are included, and installation instructions help guide setup.

Buyer feedback often highlights light blocking, ease of installation, and appearance. Experiences with fit and stability are mixed: some buyers report a good fit and smooth movement, while others mention bracket fit or shades coming out of their brackets. Feedback on durability and color is also mixed, with some buyers saying the shades hold up well and others reporting breakage or a color mismatch. Following the mounting instructions and checking the shade’s dimensions against the intended location are useful steps for a more considered selection.

Usage tips

Choose the inside- or outside-mount setup that fits the installation location, then use the supplied mounting hardware and manual to guide installation. Once mounted, raise or lower the shade by hand and stop it at the position that suits the room. In a bedroom, lowering it can help reduce incoming light and increase privacy, in a home office or another indoor space, it can also help manage direct sunlight. Changshade states that the product includes a one-year warranty.

Final verdict

For an indoor window or French door that needs room darkening without a dangling control cord, this shade brings together a blackout honeycomb design, adjustable manual positioning, and a weighted aluminum bottom rail. Its specified 33.5" x 64" dimensions and inside- or outside-mount options make it a focused choice for shoppers matching a shade to a particular opening and light-control need.
