## Description

The plush hood creates a sheltered place for a cat or small dog to curl up, offering a cozy indoor resting spot with a little more privacy than an open bed.

The hood can be used as a cave or laid down to make a round, donut-style bed. That two-in-one design lets you adjust the resting space to suit your pet’s preferred setup.

A removable bottom section and machine-washable design make routine care more practical. The non-slip base helps keep the bed in place on indoor floors.

## Best use cases
Set the CATISM bed in a quiet corner, beside a favorite chair, or in another familiar indoor resting area. With its half-covered cave shape, it gives pets a sheltered place to settle, while the plush cover and cotton filling create a soft surface for naps. The hood can also be laid down when your pet prefers an open, round bed.

Its 25 x 25 x 19-inch size is designed for cats and small dogs, with a stated maximum weight recommendation of 22 pounds. For a pet that likes to curl up under a cover, use it as a cave, for one that prefers an open bed, arrange it in the flatter donut style. Buyers often describe the bed as soft and cozy, though feedback on size and whether the hood stays upright is mixed, and some cats do not take to a new bed. Giving it a familiar indoor spot can make it easy to introduce as another resting place.

## Benefits
Unlike a conventional open cushion, this bed offers a covered cave form for pets that like a sheltered resting space. When the hood is laid down, it becomes a more open round bed, so the same design supports two different setups. The plush surface and cotton filling provide a soft place to settle, while the non-slip base is intended to help the bed stay put on the floor.

Cleaning is also part of the design: the bottom section can be removed using the zipper for washing. For routine care, follow the recommended hand-wash or gentle-cycle approach. Buyers frequently praise the softness and cozy feel, while opinions vary on the hood’s stability and the bed’s size. Those perspectives are useful when choosing between a covered bed and a simple open cushion, especially if your pet has a clear preference for one style.

## When it makes sense
Choose this CATISM bed if you want an indoor resting spot that can shift between a sheltered cave and an open donut shape. It brings together a plush sleeping surface, a removable washable bottom, and a non-slip base in one round bed for cats or small dogs within the stated weight recommendation. Place it where your pet already likes to rest, then set the hood up or lay it down to create the style of space that best suits that spot.
