## Description

## What to know

Some pet collars are chosen mainly for a simple, low-profile fit, this one adds a bell and a genuine leather strap. The red XS version is adjustable for necks measuring 6.5–9 inches, with a listed width of 2/5 inch. Its metal buckle fastens and adjusts the collar, while the bell gives it a noticeable sound as your pet moves. That may suit an owner who wants a small cat or dog to be easier to hear around the home.

The strap is described as soft, breathable leather, but there’s no information about leather treatment or a care method. Keep in mind that the bell may not suit pets that are bothered by jingly sounds, and this listing doesn’t describe a breakaway mechanism, the metal safety buckle should not be assumed to release under pressure.

## How to use it

Measure your pet’s neck before choosing this size, then adjust the buckle so the collar sits securely without being tight. The product guidance says to leave room for two fingers between the collar and the neck. Once fastened, check that the strap hasn’t shifted and that your pet can move comfortably. For example, after putting it on a kitten, check the fit again when it turns its head or settles down, rather than judging only while it stands still.

The buckle is intended to make the collar easy to put on and take off, and the adjustable design lets you fine-tune the fit within the stated range. The listing doesn’t give washing or leather-cleaning instructions, so avoid assuming that a particular cleaner or soaking method is suitable.

## Practical tips

Use the neck measurement, not the breed list, as your main sizing guide. Although the description names several kinds of pets, including cats and small dogs, it doesn’t provide separate measurements for each breed. If your pet’s neck falls outside the XS range, this size may not fit as intended.

Give your pet a little time to get used to the bell, especially if it reacts to new sounds. Check the collar and buckle regularly for signs of wear or a change in fit, the maker describes the leather as durable and resistant to fading and fraying, but the listing doesn’t specify how long it will last. The red color adds visibility as a style detail, while the bell is the feature that makes movement audible.

## Before you decide

**What neck size does XS fit?** The listed range is 6.5–9 inches. Leave room for two fingers between the collar and your pet’s neck, as directed in the product description.

**What is the collar made of?** The strap is described as genuine leather, with a metal adjustable buckle and an attached bell.

**Is it only for cats?** The description lists cats and dogs among possible pets, but fit depends on the neck measurement. The XS size is intended for necks within its stated range.

## When it makes sense

It suits you if your cat or small dog’s neck falls within the XS range and you want a leather collar with an attached bell rather than a plain strap. You may want to skip it if your pet needs a breakaway collar, is sensitive to bell sounds, or measures outside the stated neck range. The deciding point is fit: when the two-finger guidance works comfortably and the bell is welcome, the design has a clear everyday purpose, otherwise, a quieter or differently sized collar is a better match.
